TDM 12

【 Thank you for choosing the Golden Peacock, 5-star resort and casino. You are currently registered as a WILDCARD in our system.
As a token of appreciation to all of our guests, the house and resort have worked in collaboration with the all powerful system that transmigrates souls between worlds to bring you a special excursion! All are invited to participate in our limited time event, Tits out! A Sex Dungeon! where guests can shop, craft, adventure, treasure hunt, and battle.
During this event, sexual encounters with WILDCARD guests are worth double the payout, so please keep an eye out for our new arrivals! Other supplies, such as typically banned weapons, are also available.

Are you looking to make big coin? Do you have the strength and endurance to take on the dungeon? Then we want YOU to join our guild's quest to sLay!
The dungeon is teeming with sexy monsters that need sLaying. All you need to do to sLay is to fuck them real good! Once satisfied, these sexy monsters may drop quality loot. Join in the hunt to sLay and consolidate drops with our guild! We're happy to make trades or buy.
Yaaassss sLay all day!
JOB POSTING ONE! BIG PAYOUT FOR EASY WORK!
I am a pharmacist looking for some brave adventurers willing to go down into the dungeon and collect dongle flower milk for me. I need at least 10 bottles! This is an important ingredient in one of my popular prescriptions. I am not athletic enough to go get it myself and my supplies are running low.
Please deliver all dongle flower milk to the medical shop in the northwest corner of the market. Please note, I need FULL bottles. Do not skimp or I won't pay!
JOB POSTING TWO! HELP A WOMAN'S GROWING BUSINESS!
I am a young lady looking to expand my make-up business. I heard rumors that there's water in the dungeon that could make an AMAZING base for make-up products. But it sounds like it's super scary in there and I don't want to go. Please, someone, help!
You can bring all bottles of dungeon water to the make-up booth in the southeast corner of the market. I'm willing to pay in chips or trade some of my current products. My face masks and nail polishes are really good!
JOB POSTING THREE! PLEASE DON'T ASK WHY!
Hello. I need many dungeon slime cores, so I am looking for everyone and anyone willing to go slime hunting and gather some for me. We can negotiate pay based upon the number of slime cores brought. Do not inquire what the slimes or their cores are needed for.
Please bring all slime and slime core deliveries to back door of the Dried and Baked Sundries shop. Thank you!
JOB POSTING FOUR! I WANT COLLECTABLES!
If you're going into the dungeon, I want collectables. If you find that fabled treasure room, bring me back something cool and shiny. I'm willing to pay good money! I don't care what it is as long as it's hard to get and I can brag to my friends about it.
You can find me drinking in the tavern. I'll be wearing expensive velvet and a tiny hat with a feather.

▶ All characters on the TDM are WILDCARDS, which means they have not yet been assigned a card value. Suits will not manifest until characters are accepted into the game.
▶ All TDMs are game canon. This TDM acts as the game's November event and is designed to provide content for players through the mods' December break. The marketplace and dungeon will ICly conclude on January 1st.
▶ Current characters may top level on the TDM. Any current characters posting to the TDM should note they are current in their subject header. The top level directory is for new characters only. We want to make sure new characters are prioritized and receive attention!
▶ Smut threads that take place on this TDM can be used for rewards. If both parties in the smut thread join the game, you may retroactively apply the character's initial card values to your 52 bank. If one character does not join the game the thread will not be applicable toward rewards (as that character would not have a card value). The character that does join would still receive a small payout for the encounter. Hopefully it was a fun thread regardless!
▶ We ask you to kindly add content warnings to your threads as appropriate.
▶ If you do not currently have permissions and kinks listed in your character’s journal we suggest leaving a note in your top level of any limits or boundaries for other players to reference.

A
He shouldn't judge. He gets this way when he sees people skinning animals.]
Sure. But if the House is letting us buy these, then they aren't contraband. That makes them valuable.
[He picks up the sword he was looking at - it's his first time ever holding one, but at least it's intuitive. He's holding it up to the light, trying to see whatever flaws Henry is seeing.]
We could probably reforge this, fix whatever's wrong with it. Then you won't have to hide it, you'll just have a sword to carry around. Might be able to sell some to other people, too.
no subject
He snorts faintly, shaking his head. ]
Think of how valuable they would be if they were made right.
[ He almost seems to wince as his gaze follows that sword up into the light. Unfortunately, Dodger is yet again correct, and this is the best opportunity he's had for getting his hands on a weapon. He honestly tried to fight the fish thing in the garages with a broom... ]
If you're planning on getting that one, let me fix it.
no subject
Like I'd trust the blacksmith here to make it any better for me.
[He spins the grip in his hand a few times, considering the sword. Still no idea what he's supposed to be looking for in it, but he's sure Henry can make something decent out of it. Maybe even great.]
I'll buy it, you fix it, and we can go test it out in the dungeons. Maybe we can tag-team some of the monsters while we're at it.
[He's apparently not actually asking for Henry's input, because he's already heading over to buy this thing. Honestly, he's just glad that if he has to be stuck at the Eternal Renn Faire, he gets to wander around next to someone who vaguely knows what's happening.]
no subject
You'll be the envy of the resort when I'm done with you.
[ He returns, far more flirtaciously than he normally would be in such a public space. Dodger has a weird effect on him, go figure.
Even if his input isn't wanted, he'd agree anyway. He's not certain Dodger has experience adventuring, but he's very sure those fire powers will keep him plenty safe. And he wants to fix these weapons. In fact, he's lingering behind to pick one up for himself. And maybe some to sell... though he isn't exactly rich. Maybe he should just offer the service for already purchased blades. ]
no subject
And sure, he isn't rich either, but he doesn't spend his money on much besides the bare necessities.]
Pick one out, I'll get it for you. We can get some more to sell later.
[That seems like a better plan than lugging around merchandise before they've even gone on their adventure, at least. He knows exactly enough about the tropes at play here to figure they're going to want space in their rucksacks for actual loot.]
You're gonna have to show me how to use it, too... I only really know what I'm doing with one type of sword.
no subject
You're sure? [ he doesn't consider the weapons too hard, since he plans on reforging it, but picks up one that at least looks more acceptable than some of the others.
He snorts at the euphemism, shaking his head as he approaches with his choice. ] Yeah, I'll say. Don't worry, I'll teach you some basics.
no subject
Dodger tips his head when Henry brings his new sword over, scanning it with the same level of interest as his own. Still trying to see if he can spot what makes a sword good. But he can't, so he just moves on and pays for them both.]
So, what do we need to work on these? I can melt them, but I usually just shape things with my hands.
[And, you know, there's no way to get a sharp edge doing that. But he's never been around metalworking equipment of any sort, so he's fully relying on Henry to take the lead here.]
no subject
He gives a small laugh once Dodger returns from buying them, ducking his head down in thanks. ]
I definitely don't just use my hands. Preferably we'd have an anvil, a hammer, some tongs. [ He inspects their new purchases again, unable to help the little curl of his lip. Seriously, the work is sloppy. ] Usually you temper the metal as well, once you've formed it into the shape you like. I'm not sure how that works when the flame comes from ... you.
[ Probably the same though... Probably. ]
no subject
[Not that he's made use of the included sex toys a single time since coming here. For being the way that he is, Dodger is fairly vanilla.
He pauses to think a little harder.]
I think I can temper it, too. Just might need some instruction on how hot to get things, but... you don't know what Fahrenheit degrees are, do you.
[While they talk, he's idly playing with the tip of his new sword, bending the metal mindlessly into a sort of ribbon shape with all the ease of a human bending paper. He doesn't need to be careful, so it's his new fidget toy for a while.]

B
[ god!!! gaku has spent pretty much his whole life in abject poverty, but he could usually at least count on the toilets being indoors, if nothing else. this SUCKS. ]
Like— did we jinx it or something with that conversation before? [ looking helplessly at the shit trench and Remembering... ] If someone drowns in this freaking thing, you definitely cursed it.
no subject
[ seriously though, maybe they are cursed with how often this comes up!! he's going to blame the resort because that means he doesn't have to take responsibility for all the shirt.
he does laugh a bit though about the drowning thing. it is absolutely not funny and he was cursing his existence while it was happening. but Gaku's concern is amusing or something?? something like that. ]
Don't worry, I'd pull you out before you drowned in it. Hopefully.
no subject
[ HE KNOWS THAT WAS PROBABLY A JOKE BUT STILL!!! ]
Bro, if I die in the crap trenches I'm haunting you for the rest of your life!!
no subject
[ like maybe we have to be best friends first, is what he's implying.
he does wave a hand though. ]
I'm kidding, of course. You won't even fall in there, that was an extremely unusual case.
no subject
[ if anyone here's gonna drown in shit, it's probably him, because the universe just HATES him for some reason!!! ]
Ugh... You know, I'd be less pissed about this if everyone was in the same boat, but making it one more way for the lower ranks to get screwed over really sucks!
no subject
[ to drown in shit?? that's supremely awful luck. like you have to have pissed god and the angels and jesus and joseph and mary and maybe even also the devil himself to have deserved that. that is maybe a bit dramatic, but ... it's drowning in shit!! ]
Ah, you do have a point. But that's the way it always works, isn't it? The upper classes get everything and we get nothing.
Blacksmithing problems!!
Viktor's body itself reacts to it as well; heat is something he's come to realize actually does cause sensations for him, and being around it also him to feel almost human in a way. ]
Then your work is something to be commended if you can tell the difference. I do appreciate those who take pride in their work; it does build a sense of relief in knowing the amount of effort it takes. [ A pause as he drags a hexcorized metallic finger over a piece of armor lazily, before looking back up at the two of them. ]
Perhaps you could show us what you mean, exactly?
[ This is also to help curb the argument more than anything, as he eyes the blacksmith with those strange eyes of his. ]
no subject
He blinks a couple of times, moving his gaze between the smith and Viktor until it ends up settled on the latter. ]
I've been around a forge my entire life, of course I can tell the difference.
[ He shoots the smith one more glare actually. And then picks up a dagger nearby. ]
I'd be happy to, if you can't tell by its looks alone. It just looks sloppy. There's probably knicks or smudges in more than a handful of these goods. And the balance... [ he holds the dagger flat on his index and middle fingers. ] There is none. [ Then he gives the blade a flick. ] The metal is-- not brittle exactly but it's getting there. He didn't keep it heated well.
no subject
[ A pause. ] Have you ever made pieces that were not weapon-based?
no subject
Your partner, right? I've yet to meet him.
[ but he hopes to amend that soon enough! as for the rest, he smiles a bit, almost forgetting about the other blacksmith entirely for the moment. ]
Oh, sure. Horseshoes, bits of armor, and some much less ... conventional requests. I'd give anything a try, really.
no subject
Mm yes. I think he would be rather taken with your expertise and enthusiasm. Though it has been some time since Jayce has had the opportunity to use a forge.
[ It might be good for him to actually do so. ]
Do you think you might be able to replicate pieces of machinery? Gears and the like? If I were to give you the proper dimensions for them, I mean.
no subject
Has it? I kind of get that. Has he been here, to the market?
[ Just forget the hack of the blacksmith who Henry is actually pretty much ignoring now. The guy probably grumbles and gets back to his own business anyway. ]
Sure. I can make most anything from a drawing or some instructions.
[ He sounds super confident, but honestly he made a whole sword off of a faded drawing on a gravestone, so it's not completely unfounded. ]
no subject
[ Viktor is also pointedly ignoring the hack of a blacksmith as well! ]
Good. If you are willing to do so, I would greatly appreciate some pieces made. If you are interested in a payment, I might build you something or create a potion for your and Dodger's use. There is always...my card. [ Said with the slightest bit of hesitancy in his voice. ] But I would not feel terribly bad if you declined such an invitation.
[ Given his, you know, rather otherworldly appearance. ]
no subject
Of course! I'd be happy to.
[ He is dying to be helpful actually. Although he blinks a few times at the mention of for you and Dodger's use ] Oh, ehm. Yeah, that's ... I'm sure that would ... work?
[ He is not awkward, you are awkward sir. ]
What is your rank, anyway? Not that it matters, of course. I mean to say, I'm flattered if you're interested in that ... route.
no subject
My apologies for presuming. Dodger simply speaks quite highly of you, so I only assumed you two were— [ together in some capacity. ] —but do feel free to correct me if I am wrong.
[ But he rarely is about these things, especially not with how Dodger mentions and speaks about the other. ]
A five of clubs. It is not normally what I tend to offer, mostly because of my, eh, current looks. But I figure it might be beneficial for us both to propose the idea.
[ He does need to rank up to get his lab after all. ]
