★ Mating Season ★ is pleased to announce the start of nesting season in the Golden Peacock! This is a special time where guests are invited to join a series of competitive events to woo potential mates. Everyone is eager to find their perfect match and happy ending! 🍆 💦
Mating games will take place in various locations around the resort. Get ready to flash your feathers and present your courtship dance.
As a special introduction feature, all participants will be interviewed by a ★ Mating Season ★ staff member. Our sweet AI friend 🐦 CHIRPY 🐦 will generate a mate card that is likely to match your gameplay style.
Competitors will be able to browse potential mates on the ★ Mating Season ★ app to connect with those they would like to nest with!
Wildcards are an important part of nesting season. All guests that romantically match with a Wildcard during the games will be gifted a triple extra large payout for being chosen by the newest birds on the block.

▶ All characters on the TDM are WILDCARDS, which means they have not yet been assigned a card value. Suits will not manifest until characters are accepted into the game.
▶ All TDMs are game canon. This TDM acts as the game's May event.
▶ Current characters may top level on the TDM. Any current characters posting to the TDM should note they are current in their subject header.
▶ The top level directory is for new characters only. We want to make sure new characters are prioritized and receive attention! If you would be interested in a game invitation, you can note that in your comment header.

▶ Smut threads that take place on this TDM can be used for rewards. If both parties in the smut thread join the game, you may retroactively apply the character's initial card values to your 52 bank. If one character does not join the game the thread will not be applicable toward rewards (as that character would not have a card value). The character that does join would still receive a small payout for the encounter. Hopefully it was a fun thread regardless!

Hmph. Depends on how often "sometimes" is.
[he's seen more than enough people abuse the kindness of others and refuse to help themselves when they could be doing their own share of the heavy lifting! bakugo's a hero; he's going to help people. whether it's his partner with the pickle jar (after ribbing them) or some dumbass in a burning building.]

[ yuji is strong, but he can't imagine surviving half of the trials he's endured since becoming a jujutsu sorcerer without his friends and mentors being there to support him. whether that's during the battles, or afterwords, when the guilt of his regrets eat away at him. he's been suffering through a lot more of the latter back home, recently. having distanced himself from the friends he didn't already lose for their protection. and by proxy, giving up his only remaining support system.
it's been hard. harder than he'd like to admit.
turns out being alone really does get lonely. but even yuji wasn't completely alone. he still had choso, his "long lost brother" for all intents and purposes. as odd as their relationship may have been, he really was the only thing keeping yuji from completely spiraling when his mental health was at it's lowest. and that's something he'll always be grateful for, no matter how strong he gets. ]

[bakugo used to think no one else mattered but him. everyone was nothing more than a stepping stone to his greatness, useful in strengthening himself and crushing them down beneath him to reach another plateau. didn't matter if they were student, teacher, or another hero. but a year does a lot to a person. even if he's frightfully proud and relies on himself to get through, he knows no one's a one-man army in the end. but that doesn't stop him from striving to be said army.
his troubles, pains, suffering, emotions, struggles, he hates admitting any of those to others, or letting people see him when he's weak. who the hell's going to trust a hero to win if they don't see him as strong?]
Some people get too comfortable working together, they forget about their own strength. I'm going to win, no matter whether I'm with someone else or by myself. That's the kind of hero I want to be!

[ he doesn't repeat it in a mocking way, more out of surprise and genuine curiosity than anything else. he hasn't heard anyone say anything akin to "i wanna be a hero when i grow up" since he was in primary school. the guy on the other side of the wall sounds too mature for that, closer to his own age if not a little older.

that's what heros do, right? yuji wouldn't consider himself a hero, especially after what happened in shibuya. the number of lives lost far outweighs the number of lives he's managed to save... and to make matters worse, he'd been too weak to protect the people who mattered most to him. maybe if he'd been stronger, things could have turned out differently. ]
Sometimes... one person just isn't strong enough. [ he probably would have died too, if his friend todo hadn't showed up when he did. ] It's nice to have help from people you can trust. To pick you back up if you fall. "Someone strong"... I can understand the value in that.
[ it took a bit of self reflection to get here, but that answer makes a little more sense to him now. ]

he's probably going to have to explain it. like normal. bakugo's used to it by now. people don't get what a "hero" is in his world because so many have their own ideas of what a "hero" is in their own. a title, a joke, a pipe dream, even the one guy who does have heroes in his world is more akin to (at the moment) secret agents. he's reluctantly curious to yuji's reaction.]
Hmph. If I can't do something, then the person with me has to take over. [growled under his breath, but acknowledged. he knows well enough his own weakness and lacking, even as he tackles both to eliminate them!] I want someone strong by me. The less I have to worry about my partner, the more I can focus on people who need us.
[us. he values strength, a lot, but what good is he going to be if his attention's split between his mate and his mission? he wants someone who he knows will stand beside him at the start of their trial and emerge at his side by the end.]
