Mating games will take place in various locations around the resort. Get ready to flash your feathers and present your courtship dance.
As a special introduction feature, all participants will be interviewed by a ★ Mating Season ★ staff member. Our sweet AI friend 🐦 CHIRPY 🐦 will generate a mate card that is likely to match your gameplay style.
Competitors will be able to browse potential mates on the ★ Mating Season ★ app to connect with those they would like to nest with!
Wildcards are an important part of nesting season. All guests that romantically match with a Wildcard during the games will be gifted a triple extra large payout for being chosen by the newest birds on the block.

▶ All characters on the TDM are WILDCARDS, which means they have not yet been assigned a card value. Suits will not manifest until characters are accepted into the game.
▶ All TDMs are game canon. This TDM acts as the game's May event.
▶ Current characters may top level on the TDM. Any current characters posting to the TDM should note they are current in their subject header.

▶ Smut threads that take place on this TDM can be used for rewards. If both parties in the smut thread join the game, you may retroactively apply the character's initial card values to your 52 bank. If one character does not join the game the thread will not be applicable toward rewards (as that character would not have a card value). The character that does join would still receive a small payout for the encounter. Hopefully it was a fun thread regardless!

[With a small nod, Xiao Xingchen takes the robes, pulling them onto himself as he thinks of how to answer that. He’s glad that Xie Lian wants to be helpful; not because of any desire for help for himself, but it means that the other man has something to focus on instead of confusion and worry. Still, it’s quite a different feeling to have someone fuss over him instead of the other way around!
While the wounds were still fresh, it might have pained his heart to have attention called to his blindness - as if he could somehow forget - but they’ve long since hardened into scars. He only has trouble with the matter of how to answer a question about what happened. In some ways, it’s a complicated story from a lifetime ago.

I am sorry in that case. {Blindness, no matter the cause, is a difficult disability to work with and if the blindness came later in the other man's life, that is doubly so. He does notice, however, that he isn't given a name. Is he somehow untrustworthy? Does it have something to do with what he mentioned earlier? About a shrine maybe?}

Xiao Xingchen's brows rise up and his mouth hangs open for a moment. He's the one used to protecting others! No one has declared that sort of thing for him! Not to mention that he's the one who was here sooner, even if he likely doesn't give that impression compared to many others who have arrived since. Such a feeling certainly isn't bad, even if confusing.
But what the man said before comes back to mind, which starts to make sense of his words. Well, if it's what he thinks is the case.]

[That definitely makes much more sense. The very idea of presuming to be the one to protect someone like this now feels very silly. He's one of the few in his world to understand just how little his power would be in comparison, even if he is powerful among other mortals.
He hesitates for a moment, as if he wants to elaborate, but he shakes his head as he changes course. There's no need to go on about himself so much or to ask about Xie Lian's matters, even if he is curious. They're still in a dire situation - or at least, one that must still feel disorienting for Xie Lian - and he isn't about to presume a god is immune to the emotions that come about from being in this strange new place.]

Tell me. {Xie Lian encourages softly, curious about what Xingchen is thinking about. He doesn't see himself as better than anyone else and he truly doesn't think about his power. He would promise to help and protect Xingchen even if he was a mortal man. It's just in his nature.}
...what I need? {His cheeks burn and he swallows nervously, looking down at himself. And...Xingchen for that matter. They are attired as if... As if they belong in bed together.}
