Mating games will take place in various locations around the resort. Get ready to flash your feathers and present your courtship dance.
As a special introduction feature, all participants will be interviewed by a ★ Mating Season ★ staff member. Our sweet AI friend 🐦 CHIRPY 🐦 will generate a mate card that is likely to match your gameplay style.
Competitors will be able to browse potential mates on the ★ Mating Season ★ app to connect with those they would like to nest with!
Wildcards are an important part of nesting season. All guests that romantically match with a Wildcard during the games will be gifted a triple extra large payout for being chosen by the newest birds on the block.

▶ All characters on the TDM are WILDCARDS, which means they have not yet been assigned a card value. Suits will not manifest until characters are accepted into the game.
▶ All TDMs are game canon. This TDM acts as the game's May event.
▶ Current characters may top level on the TDM. Any current characters posting to the TDM should note they are current in their subject header.

The character that does join would still receive a small payout for the encounter. Hopefully it was a fun thread regardless!

im so glad they're finally making their marriage official
[ there's some kind of commotion going on just outside the chapel that causes both yuji and birdvis the marriage officiant to exchange wary glances with one another. the latter smiles and assures the teen that everything is fine, but yuji isn't so sure. there seems to be a lot of yelling and overall hostility happening out there, which in all likelihood doesn't bode well for the groom-to-be, who doesn't even stop to consider why that voice sounds so familiar... until it's calling out his name.
yuji turns halfway, glancing back over his shoulder with large curious eyes that only widen when he sees megumi standing there looking like an angry disheveled cat squeezed into a suit against his will. ]

[ the shock in his voice is evident as he gapes over at his friend, definitely the last person he expected to show up to his shotgun wedding... and dressed in snazzy formal attire no less. (no he hasn't put two and two together, yet.) ]

[The staff member runs away. They've had enough of this shit.
Birdvis is completely ignored by Megumi; he has more important stuff to do now. And what Megumi could've figured out - the entire marriage scene - it completely flies over his head.]

This morning, I guess? Not that long- [ yuji's cut off by the sound of birdvis clearing his throat aggressively. it's clear he wants to get on with the ceremony, waving his attendant over to present them both with a matching set of rings... and help put them on if need be (cough megumi cough)! itadori slips his on without a fuss, holding up his hand to admire the gold wedding band in the light. all of which is followed by a rather loud announcement by birdvis: "I now pronounce you husband and wife!"
yuji pauses, blinks. ] Wait what? [ he points to fushiguro, then himself. ] Us???

Neither does Megumi...Megumi sighs, rubbing the bridge of his nose, then trying to assess if Yuji is injured anywhere, if the birds did something to him, if-]
Huh?
[Birdvis gets stared at incredulously. This has to be some sort of joke. The attendant must've had lightning reflexes because the ring ends up on Megumi's finger before he knew what was happening (years of experience?)]
This has to be a joke. [They can't get married! ...can they? This has to be the most elaborate, cruel joke Megumi had ever witnessed.]

Which of us is the wife? [ "Not important!" exclaims birdvis as he strums dramatically on his guitar and gestures in the direction of the exit. yuji holds up his hands in mock surrender and begins to back away from the alter, reaching to grab fushiguro by the arm- only his ring activates and smacks their palms together instead. ]
Oh? [ he just. stares at their interlocked hands a moment. ] Uhh... sorry, I didn't mean to- [ he tries to retract his hand but ends up jerking megumi towards him instead. ] !?

And birdvis is lucky that the rings slapped their hands together because he was about to sic Kon on the bastard and his guitar. Everyone is fortunate today!
Megumi stumbles back into Yuji, and not so gently either, because he didn't expect it.]
This stupid place... [he's staring at their hands, feeling the tips of his ear beginning to burn furiously. Maybe Yuji should haul his wife's ass out of the chapel to stop any potential bloodshed.]

I'm not really sure what's going on, but let's go find some place quieter to catch up, yeah?
[ he rolls his shoulders, stretching against the tight fabric of his tux- a more comfortable outfit would be good too. yuji starts to move toward the exit, still holding fast to megumi's hand... since neither of them have a choice atm. ]

Once again, Yuji saves the day (and people) by dragging Megumi away.]
There's no quiet place here, [Megumi grumbles. And he's partially correct, it's a Hotel that's alive in a way, and no corner is really safe and private. But there are some coffee shops and stores that are currently quiet because all the attention is on the Casino.
Also, he has a question about that tux- why did they shove Yuji into something that's obviously too small for him? (always thinking practically instead of, you know...)]

[ he chuckles while fidgeting uncomfortably because really, what more can he do besides laugh at his own misfortune? the alternative would be yelling or cursing up a storm but that's never been his style. he'll leave the hot headed antics to his new wife.
their arms sway a bit as they walk, still hand in hand. yuji peers down between them to glance at the rings interlocking their hands and gives them a light shake so see if that accomplishes anything, but all it does is rattle megumi's arm back and forth. ] I wonder how long we'll be stuck like this...

[At least he can do that, and it's honestly a bit relaxing to see. Megumi's been so wound up since his arrival here months ago, and that didn't change at all. In fact, it has gotten worse. Being stuck in one enclosed space for such a long time makes one go tense very fast.
They pass several shops, most of them happily displaying all sorts of... toys... that Megumi scowls at. When Yuji stops to look at one of the stores that seems to have clothes, Megumi drags him onward because that's a lingerie shop. This place, Yuji will learn, doesn't like when people wear clothes.
Megumi looks at their connected hands and sighs, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly.]
It will probably demand something obscene... [Megumi's dark muttering about it is so quiet that if Yuji's not paying attention, he'll miss it.]
