TDM 12

【 Thank you for choosing the Golden Peacock, 5-star resort and casino. You are currently registered as a WILDCARD in our system.
As a token of appreciation to all of our guests, the house and resort have worked in collaboration with the all powerful system that transmigrates souls between worlds to bring you a special excursion! All are invited to participate in our limited time event, Tits out! A Sex Dungeon! where guests can shop, craft, adventure, treasure hunt, and battle.
During this event, sexual encounters with WILDCARD guests are worth double the payout, so please keep an eye out for our new arrivals! Other supplies, such as typically banned weapons, are also available.
We appreciate our low rank guests temporarily adjusting their living quarters to accommodate this delightful experience. Extra thanks to you for your generosity! 】

Yaaassss sLay all day!
JOB POSTING ONE! BIG PAYOUT FOR EASY WORK!
I am a pharmacist looking for some brave adventurers willing to go down into the dungeon and collect dongle flower milk for me. I need at least 10 bottles! This is an important ingredient in one of my popular prescriptions. I am not athletic enough to go get it myself and my supplies are running low.
Please deliver all dongle flower milk to the medical shop in the northwest corner of the market. Please note, I need FULL bottles. Do not skimp or I won't pay!
JOB POSTING TWO! HELP A WOMAN'S GROWING BUSINESS!
I am a young lady looking to expand my make-up business. I heard rumors that there's water in the dungeon that could make an AMAZING base for make-up products. But it sounds like it's super scary in there and I don't want to go. Please, someone, help!
You can bring all bottles of dungeon water to the make-up booth in the southeast corner of the market. I'm willing to pay in chips or trade some of my current products. My face masks and nail polishes are really good!
JOB POSTING THREE! PLEASE DON'T ASK WHY!
Hello. I need many dungeon slime cores, so I am looking for everyone and anyone willing to go slime hunting and gather some for me. We can negotiate pay based upon the number of slime cores brought. Do not inquire what the slimes or their cores are needed for.
Please bring all slime and slime core deliveries to back door of the Dried and Baked Sundries shop. Thank you!
JOB POSTING FOUR! I WANT COLLECTABLES!
If you're going into the dungeon, I want collectables. If you find that fabled treasure room, bring me back something cool and shiny. I'm willing to pay good money! I don't care what it is as long as it's hard to get and I can brag to my friends about it.
You can find me drinking in the tavern. I'll be wearing expensive velvet and a tiny hat with a feather.

Frankly, his first thought is, 'glad that wasn't me.' Followed closely by, 'oh, that could have been me.' Because those slimes definitely would have dropped down on him if this guy didn't end up taking the blow instead, right? And while that's not his fault in any way ...
... ugh. ]
-- uh. Hey. [ Cue the splash of clumsy footsteps as Fuuta wades forward, kicking aside a stray slime and swatting away another one that's still lodged against Flins' clothes; he's wearing gloves, it's fine. (Probably?) ] You okay? That looks pretty nasty ...
[ It's not that he feels bad this guy probably took the hit for him! He's just helping out someone who got nailed with bad luck. Yeah, that's all! ]
no subject
It's good that his companion was spared, but now that means he himself has to deal with the consequences, which seem to be a changed state of being, go figure. He's not the least bit surprised, either that he starts to feel aroused and more aggressive, though he tries to fight off the inclination to act out on it.]
Ah... My thanks. It certainly isn't what one would call pleasant, that's for certain. [He regards Fuuta with a burning look, one hand coming up to cover his face to hide his blush.] You are uninjured, at least?
[This is precisely why he opted to take the lead: so that any potential traps and enemies would hone in on him first. He doesn't regret that decision, though he's still stuck with his breathing growing heavier as he shifts to continue scraping the slimes' secretions off himself.]
3
Nah. [ Finally an answer. ] Where'd you get these? [ The materials are what interest him more than the sculptures themselves. ]
no subject
[Although Flins' response is as measured as ever, there's a glimmer of keen interest in his eye as he watches Xue Yang examine his works. Anyone who takes even a passing interest in his creations is worth sparing some time on, of course. Though there is a note of disappointment when it's the materials that prove to be that focus of his attentions. With a light shrug, he offers a slight smile.]
That's a secret. [A brief pause, then:] From the restaurants, mostly. They have little use for the leftover bones.
no subject
[ Xue Yang gives an amused snort as he continues handling the item.
Unfortunately it's not the sort of answer he was hoping for. The restaurant supplies haven't been anything he's been able to reanimate in the past. None of their original souls left, and he's had a plethora of failed attempts at getting the ghosts here to possess what he's wanted them to. ]
Is the rest of it the secret part?
no subject
[He repeats, lips quirking up into a slightly unsettling smile.
He's hesitant to provide all the answers when it's clear the other man is looking for something in particular. Without knowing what, Flins is loathe to divulge his sources completely, lest this fellow prove an unscrupulous sort. Plus he's having fun making a game of it. Pressing a finger to his lips, his eyes seem to almost glow.]
That would be telling, now wouldn't it? How about you tell me what you're after, and we'll go from there?
no subject
[ Though the souls are less important if the corpses in question are human.
The answer comes without hesitation. While it might not be obvious to a newcomer, to anyone who has been around the resort for long enough the omission of dead bodies is a conspicuous one. Xue Yang feels no need to hide that he's been looking for some. The indications that this person isn't average merely solidify his expectation that they might actually have useful information on this front.
He places the sculpture back down. ]
no subject
[As the keeper of a graveyard, that notion doesn't sit well with him. The lost souls of his fallen comrades are his neighbors, and their eternal rest deserves to be respected. Perhaps things are different here, but... all the same, it isn't something he's keen on facilitating. He's heard there are ghosts and specters in the resort, though how much like a human soul they are, he doesn't know.
Idly, he adjusts his sculpture to straighten it.]
I'm afraid I don't deal in the corpses of humans. However, if you wish to procure dead animals, that I could help you with.
no subject
At the word "humans" his grin falls, and his gaze sweeps over the sculptures again. So, these are all animal not out of necessity but preference?
That's much less fun. ]
If it's animals then I'm only interested if there's resentful energy attached to them. Either that or their souls.
[ Does he care that he's asking after something the average person would know nothing about? Not one bit. ]
no subject
While he does lean more towards animal bones due to his own stance on the dead, it isn't as if he hasn't used whatever's come his way before. Here, there simply isn't any deceased to borrow; everyone who leaves turns to stone, from what he's heard.]
So, tormented creatures. Why do you seek to disrupt the flow of life? Are you trying to practice to bring back someone special to you? Or is it simply your job?
[He's heard tell of zombies and the like, and even the Wild Hunt from his own world is something that disturbs the dead, turning them into abominations.]
no subject
[ He's interested in corpses precisely because he's well past that point by now. He's a mad scientist through and through, both the "mad" and the "scientist" parts: he has knowledge that interests him, he wants to push it further, and he doesn't care how messed up or taboo his experiments are. But experiments require resources. ]
3
This... may be good? It's certainly not to his particular taste though, but perhaps he could put a little more thought and care into his response so that he said something nice in passing, rather than opening up his mouth and asking in a skeptical tone: ]
Is this art?
no subject
Probably. At being addressed, he lets out a thoughtful hum as he regards the other man. He isn't surprised that Broca isn't one of his hopeful enthusiasts but it's still a touch disappointed all the same. Not that he lets on as he nods and gestures at the sculptures.]
In a manner of speaking. They also serve as a battle tool, allowing me to review the foes I fight after the fact.
no subject
So he doesn't feel it's really his place to truly judge someone else's sculptures, even if he thinks that someone needs to have some pretty unusual taste to appreciate this particular one.
Though some degree of appreciation does seem to click into place with that explanation of his creation, Broca's face brightening slightly as he nods in a dawning understanding. ]
So you know the weak points better?
[ As well as a better understanding of weapons they might have if fighting a creature that mainly uses claws and teeth. ]
no subject
Though he doesn't blame others for not realizing or seeing it in the same way. To each their own, as they say.
At least it seems Broca has some understanding and sympathy for his methods once it's been explained. That makes Flins smile happily.]
Precisely. It helps me better envision their anatomy and review their movements in my mind. The Wild Hunt in particular has erratic behavior. You need to constantly be vigilant.
[What with them being shambling corpses that teleport, though their anatomy is that of deceased humans.]
no subject
I have no idea what that is.
[ The Wild Hunt with capital letters included simply isn't a thing where he's from. A lot of the creatures he's fought don't even necessarily have bones to be able to assemble into shapes like this, and given he's done a lot of fighting of at the time very alive people...
It wouldn't be any more questionable than displaying the skeletons of the Wild Hunt in the end, but perhaps both men should avoid that particular line of "artistry".
Regardless, he can appreciate what Flins is going for here, even if it would be a limited use case in his own world. ]
