PHOENIX CASINO HALL
WELCOME TO THE NEXT 168 HOURS
Phoenix Casino is a-flutter with activity and packed to the beak with guests. As a famously ever-changing space, the staff would be remiss if they didn't deck the crown jewel of the Golden Peacock out. The casino glitters from top to bottom, shining brighter than diamonds, rubies, sapphires, opals! Party-goers are shiny and glamorous with picture perfect makeup, fluttering gowns, and sharp suits. Card tables are packed and the slot machines are a-ringing as guests play, play, play! Prizes, luxury, booze, attractive people, it's the place that everyone wants to be at.
Those people being dragged inside by some invisible force...? Silly, they were so excited to come that their bodies moved before they realized what was happening. Those are struggles of joy and definitely not the casino's infamous ghost hands dragging unwilling guests to the party at the behest of the house. Look, they're literally hurling their bodies at the card tables with unrestrained glee!
All clocks indicating day hours and night hours have been removed from the casino. Once a guest has entered, their Watch will jam, making it impossible to keep track of the time. You don't need to worry about that tonight.

[ well. dan heng is taking all of this with as much grace as possible. new worlds aren't foreign to him by any means, but generally speaking he makes the choice to venture to them, rather than being forcibly appropriated. after waking in the back of a large limousine in nothing but a gauzy robe, he'd needed a little soul-searching time. no weapon. no fellow crew members. only himself, here in this bizarre, gaudy place - being cautious is an absolute necessity.
being cautious, and playing along, even if it means needing to debase himself for the pleasure of the house. without backup, he cannot chance disobedience. so here he is, all dressed up and sitting ramrod-straight on a luxurious sofa, one leg crossed over the other, staring down a pair of tawdry dice. dan heng inhales, exhales, inhales again, and sighs. ]
Well. Shall we?
[ the sooner they begin, the sooner it will end. ]
one or eleven;
[ dominance, submission.. dan heng has never taken part in play like this before (he's woefully inexperienced, help), but after a little bit of thought, he can understand the appeal.
dominating offers complete control, safety. submitting gives one the chance to let go, to hand the reins to another and rest. there's more to this than simple sex - it's ferreting out a deeper satisfaction than easy pleasure can provide. pressing his lips thoughtfully together, dan heng selects a card.
A♦: ACE OF DIAMONDS
submissive. very well. perhaps it's for the best, given his distinct lack of experience here, but giving up control is not an easy ask, either; he'll simply have to assert his boundaries. still dressed to impress, dan heng slips his card into his lapel so that it's easily visible to anyone searching for a partner, his teal eyes flicking toward the first to approach. ]
Are you looking for me?
house of cards;
[ now, this is a little more his speed, thanks. dan heng is a delicate, careful person by nature, so slipping the cards out should be simple enough, and the questions can't be that intrusive, right? right? sure, probably!! so, sitting across from his partner, dan heng hums thoughtfully and leans forward, deftly sliding the first card free. it reads:
Would you trade your memories with a beloved person in order to save their life?
oh. he'd expected something a little less heavy than that, given the tight expression on his face, but dan heng needs only a few seconds to decide on his answer. placing the card down, face up, he nods. ]
Yes, I would.
aftercare;
[ dan heng hadn't partaken in much drinking, outside of a little bit of wine here and there, but given his reclusive nature the far-too-long party had been hell on him in other ways. so when he wakes with a soft groan, comfortably hemmed in by plush blankets, his head is still pounding.
also he's entirely naked, help.
sitting up with a soft sigh, dan heng rubs his eyes with the heel of his hand, the plush blankets dropping to gather around his hips, revealing soft skin bearing curious scars along his back and arms, as well as soft patches of bluegreen scales, iridescent in the morning light. blinking blearily, he casts his gaze toward the companion he's been tucked in beside. ]
Wake up.
wildcard;
[ please feel free to mix and match prompts, or throw something new at me! also, dan heng comes in both human and dragonish forms - so yes, this means the dragon dicks. he's got a lizard setup, so a genital slit from which the dicks emerge when he's aroused, but the slit is also fuckable because why not. if you would rather not engage with the dragon anatomy, just let me know and i'll have him in his human form!! happy fucking, friends.
[ A♠: ACE OF SPADES. Well, then — this should be fun. He wouldn't have played this game if he weren't comfortable accepting either role, and while he's experienced and comfortable with his own physicality, he has more often played a submissive role. He doesn't see it as something to worry over, but rather, a worthwhile challenge to take on.
Once he finds a partner, anyway. He tucks his card into the sash tied at his waist, quietly hoping someone will reach out to him first — not because he's unwilling to be assertive, but because he can't, you know, see everyone else's cards...
So imagine his surprise when the voice that greets him is a somewhat familiar one. Jiaoqiu may not have spent as much time in the company of Dan Heng as he did his Trailblazing companions, but even if they never spoke at length, his ears and mind are sharp enough to recognize him. Now...isn't this interesting? The Yaoqing may not be as steeped in the politics of the Preceptors as the Luofu, but even so, it's impossible to not be familiar with this man's history — and the rumors.
Brows jumping up, Jiaoqiu greets Dan Heng with a bemused smile, much of his bewilderment genuine. ]
That depends on if you're looking for me. I don't really...look for anyone, you know.
[ oh, a familiar voice.. with a familiar set of ears, and pink hair - slightly different from the pink hair he usually encounters. dan heng's brows rise in surprise, though not unpleasant. ]
Jiaoqiu-xiānsheng.. I did not expect to encounter you here.
[ not that he has expected to encounter anyone, really, that he knows - but then, if he was spirited away here, then why not others from his home? it would certainly make sense, if the powers that be traveled all the way to his universe to pluck him up, they would likely pluck up others, as well.
his eyes flick over jiaoqiu's clothing, his expression, then to the card at his waist. ]
[ The surprise is mutual, even if you couldn't tell by Jiaoqiu's unflappable demeanor. There are certainly some from home that Jiaoqiu would be less thrilled to see here — the general and Moze have so much on their plates, if anyone was expendable enough to be dragged into this, it's him — but Dan Heng is an intriguing individual, one he'd like to get to know better, and...
Familiar. That matters more to him than Jiaoqiu would have expected. ]
The Yaoqing inspires a distinctly competitive spirit in even the best of us, and I'm no exception. I'm a little surprised to hear you're playing, however. [ Said in tone more curious than anything else. ] If I may...which card did fate choose for you today?
[ Or, what he's asking, in so many words: is Dan Heng a possible complementary match for him? ]
Jae Ha drinks often enough that his tolerance is through the roof, so waking to a pounding head and mild nausea is enough to throw him off. Could the drinks have been spiked with some sort of a drug? It's certainly possible, he supposes, but it's not something he can help now that he's consumed so much of it. There's just a soft groan and a roll to plant his face into the pillow, content to snooze away another hour or so until...
The voice brings him back out of it. Someone beside him? Well, that's not such a bad thing, either. But it's a moment later, still, that it dawns on him once more. He's naked.
His shoes aren't on.
He's naked and his shoes aren't on, and that means that hideous dragon leg of his is out in the open, right beneath these covers. Suddenly hyper aware of this, he freezes, then in a flash, sits up and yanks the covers so fast over his own side that it makes him want to double over in pain from the throbbing headache he's just worsened. He doesn't, though. He just forces a smile, lifting a palm in a brief wave to his bed partner, like that's normal. )
...Good morning...
( There, though, the light finally catches those scales, scales that aren't his own, and his expression drops a little as his eyes trace over them. Dragon......? )
[ waking up beside a stranger is certainly an odd experience, but not one that is altogether unfamiliar for him. dan heng travels quite a bit, and even before finding a home on the express, he jumped from ship to ship, planet to planet, which sometimes meant having to sleep.. well, anywhere he could. still, it's been rather a long time since he woke up beside anyone at all.
oh. well, at least the man seems just as surprised as he was, with the way he yanks the covers up so quickly. dan heng shakes his head. ]
It's all right. I mean no harm.
[ he keeps his voice quiet, gentle, both hands dropping into his lap. ]
( It's not harm that he's worried about, but Jae Ha doesn't specify that. As long as his leg is covered from view, he's fine, and he already seems a lot more relaxed with that. Still, no memory— as he thinks on it, he realizes the same is true for himself. No memory of falling asleep, no memory of coming here, no memory of meeting this man... )
Neither do I.
( For now, he puts the question of if this man is a dragon on the backburner. )
[there's something truly intriguing about people who are more humanoid, more emotionally attached than they are. the fact that this one speaks so quickly in response to the heavy question is its own curious thing, almost endearing in its own right. but it still makes them hum softly, fingers splayed across their lap amid the shimmery fabric they're wrapped in.]
It's a bit vague, isn't it? Who are you trading your memories with? How many? Which are they of? And do you actually receive theirs? [they laugh, bright and soft.] Really, that's the kind of deal any Fae would be falling over themselves to take.
It may be vague, but in the end my answer would be the same, regardless. I would give up anything to save the people I care for.
[ his memories, his sanity, his life. of this, dan heng is absolutely positive. still, he gestures to the house of cards as he sits back again, folding his hands neatly in his lap. ]
[ Well, this sure is a game. He's sitting with Dan Heng, carefully observing the other man and feeling quite interested in how this will play out. He was a little more keen on the more exciting games, like the dirty dice game, but this is ... nice? A little bit of a reprieve from the chaos.
He sips his drink, he watches Dan Heng's face as he pulls his card out and considers the question. It's... a heavy question, Wei Wuxian knows his answer would be the same though. ]
[ a reprieve from the chaos is exactly what dan heng is looking for, honestly. he's still being forced to be sociable, but that's something that's gotten easier since becoming a nameless, so it does not bother him overmuch. still, this party has been very long..
tapping the card lightly with his fingertip, dan heng soon sits back again, legs crossed. ]
Mm. I would do nearly anything to protect those I love. I take it you understand.
[ The redhead has a very aptly-colored Ace of Hearts tucked into his lapel, his black and gold suit crisp and seeming to utterly fit the designation of 'Dominant' for this particular game. Even if Sylvain is typically pretty flexible in fulfilling either role.
Considering the House has chosen for all of them today, he's playing along, and there's something sharp and alert in his amber gaze as he strolls through the lounge. Only to stop short when he's addressed by an unfamiliar figure. The young man gets a faint smirk in greeting, amber eyes warm despite the intensity of them. ]
I hadn't been, I'll be honest. If only because I wasn't sure what I was looking for. But I tend to be curious enough to wait and see who fate will thrust into my path and roll with it from there. [ The smirk drifts briefly into a more genuine smile. ] You new here?
[ well that's rather a striking suit you're wearing, sir. dan heng glances it over, briefly taking note of the card in the lapel - convenient, how it is the partner to his own. when his teal eyes lift again, he nods crisply. ]
I am, yes. Is it obvious?
[ or is this man simply familiar enough with this place and all the faces here that he knows someone new when he sees them? or.. both, perhaps? dan heng certainly has the look of someone with refined and elegant tastes, from the tips of his glassy horns to the tuft at the end of his sleek tail, but looking the part and playing it are two very different things.
though he's remained calm and collected, there's a definite awkwardness about him that anyone with sharp eyes could see. ]
[ As in, she's awake and significantly less naked, idly scrolling through social media on her watch.
They're in her Ace suite, which features Lots of windows and "natural light" (or as natural as the resort can provide). It's simple and clean, lacking fancy ornaments one would see on the Luofu or in such a lavish resort. The bed is spacious and comfy, though. That's a plus. ]
This wasn't how I expected to see any of the Nameless again, but hey.
[ the light is certainly warm and welcome. it's been years since dan heng's exile, yet he still relishes in the feeling of light on his skin, a part of him that can never forget the cold, dismal depths of the shackling prison.
anyway, the bed is very cozy, that's nice too. his eyes flick upward. ]
Oh. Miss Topaz.
[ not a face he was expecting to see. ]
I'm.. sorry if I've disturbed you. I don't recall falling asleep.
[ Troy happens to be the man across from him at the table. He lets Dan Heng have the first question, with his brow raising at the "younger" man's answer. ]
No hesitation. That said a lot about you.
[ He wonders if the question is for whoever picks the card or whoever is across from them, but he figures they can both answer. ]
As for me, while I'd do anything to save the life of someone I care for. I also don't want to subject them to my memories.
[ He keeps his calm, but taking a moment to glance aside ]
A warrior's life, you know. Not exactly the prettiest of memories.
[Wriothesley's outfit is a little shameless needless to say, though this was less his choosing and more that he happily agreed to the outfit presented to him by a close one. He's not exactly shy anyways.
This is not the first time he has seen Dan Heng's face, but he can also tell that the man shows no sign of familiarity with him. He easily rolls with it, of course, smiling easily.]
Sure, let's start. [His gaze softens.] Not to overstep, but... Take it easy though, won't you? I know this place can be a lot, so let's go at your pace. [Dan Heng's rigidness is very telling.] Maybe we'll even get a good laugh or two by the end of it, so let's enjoy ourselves as best we can.
dan heng's brows lift in mild surprise, however, and for a moment he is confused, before he notes the stiffness of his own posture. ah. clearing his throat, he nods, glancing briefly away, then back again. ]
I will. If something is too intimidating, I will be sure to let you know.
[ how kind this man is, to consider his feelings like this. that warmsmile puts him at ease. ]
[Even if he hadn't spent the night drinking, the familiar face sharing the bed with Dan Heng is far from an early riser. Jing Yuan fights waking up, gathering the vidyadhara's abandoned blankets and curling further into them.
He's just as naked, but aside from likely a brief flash of his thick, soft cock flops over his pale thighs as he rolls over, once he's curled up the most visible parts of the Arbiter General are his bare feet sticking out the bottom and the fluffed mane of white hair sticking from the top.
The immortal draws in a deep, sleepy sigh, one hand freed to flop across Dan Heng's lap, fingers curling loosely over his hip.]
Edited (wow it posted before i changed the title) 2025-01-23 07:06 (UTC)
[ general your bobbies... !! and your cock help - 😳
dan heng's eyes fly wide, and he immediately averts his eyes, though it's only a moment later that jing yuan rolls over, curling himself into a blanket burrito - oh, it's a bit cute that he's so tall that his feet and hair stick out though.. anyway, a strong arm drapes over his lap, and dan heng feels his face flush warm. jing yuan is very attractive, all right, and he's also very warm..
[ It's a warm pair of emerald eyes that lift to meet his when the question is asked; truth be told, Aerith hasn't quite decided for whom or what she's looking; she's still adjusting in fact to the knowledge that looking is something she needs to do, now that she's stepped into this room.
Curiosity, as they say, will kill the cat—or, at the very least, land said cat with a card reading "dominant" tagged to the front of her overly-froufrou, overly-uncomfortable dress.
Which, she supposes, means she is the person looking for him.
This is not a game Aerith is used to playing, but she's been given her role now, so...
She reaches a hand toward him, her smile kind even as she lifts her chin a little, squares her shoulders, tries to carry Tseng in the way she walks and moves. ]
[ it only takes dan heng a few moments to catch the dominant card pinned to her dress, and he feels his heart fluttering against his ribs. she's quite beautiful. dan heng glances to her offered hand. ]
I.. yes, I will.
[ he'll get used to this. he's already begin to settle in, so he shouldn't lose his momentum now. with a nod of his head, he takes her hand. ]
My name is Dan Heng. It's good to meet you.
[ at the very least, they should exchange names, he thinks. ]
[ What an elegant partner he's stumbled into. By happy accident, probably not even by the House's design if he's honest, Seimei has managed to find himself across from a handsomely dressed figure who he can tell is brimming with some kind of energy. He's fascinated already, even before knowing anything more about this stranger, and the fox part of him wants to seduce his reluctant new companion into something warm.
He has to hold back and smile politely, resisting the urge to tease Dan Heng right away. ]
Of course. I'll be happy to play a game with you. But you seem troubled. Are you not a fan of dice, or is it merely the company that you are tired of?
[ he is, apparently, a magnet for teasing. the cool, distant, stoic types usually are. it certainly doesn't help that he is a bit out of his element, here.. ]
Ah, my apologies, I hadn't meant to seem.. tense.
[ dan heng clears his throat and straightens his shoulders a little, though he soon forces himself to relax as well, his expression smoothing somewhat. ]
This is all a little new to me, that's all, but I am here to play.

He's just as naked, but aside from likely a brief flash of his thick, soft cock flops over his pale thighs as he rolls over, once he's curled up the most visible parts of the Arbiter General are his bare feet sticking out the bottom and the fluffed mane of white hair sticking from the top.
The immortal draws in a deep, sleepy sigh, one hand freed to flop across Dan Heng's lap, fingers curling loosely over his hip.]

dan heng's eyes fly wide, and he immediately averts his eyes, though it's only a moment later that jing yuan rolls over, curling himself into a blanket burrito - oh, it's a bit cute that he's so tall that his feet and hair stick out though.. anyway, a strong arm drapes over his lap, and dan heng feels his face flush warm. jing yuan is very attractive, all right, and he's also very warm..
he clears his throat, and stays very still. ]

That's right. Will you come with me?

I.. yes, I will.
[ he'll get used to this. he's already begin to settle in, so he shouldn't lose his momentum now. with a nod of his head, he takes her hand. ]
My name is Dan Heng. It's good to meet you.
[ at the very least, they should exchange names, he thinks. ]

sex dice
He has to hold back and smile politely, resisting the urge to tease Dan Heng right away. ]
Of course. I'll be happy to play a game with you. But you seem troubled. Are you not a fan of dice, or is it merely the company that you are tired of?
[ Okay, maybe just a little teasing. ]

Ah, my apologies, I hadn't meant to seem.. tense.
[ dan heng clears his throat and straightens his shoulders a little, though he soon forces himself to relax as well, his expression smoothing somewhat. ]
This is all a little new to me, that's all, but I am here to play.
