[Dodger grimaces, because he thinks he can tell where Jayce is going with this before he starts speaking. Just because... well, all of this therapy shit started with Jayce trying to charm his way through two people making up.
But he gets up, and finishes of what's left of his bottle before letting it drop on the ground. He's a little tipsy, but he's... functional. Enough that he won't be stumbling into things, at least.]

[Dodger hesitates again, and some color blooms on his cheeks. Listen, he's very pale, the blush shows up very easily.]

[He may or may not have been ruminating at some point about whether there was a way for it to not hurt like a bitch when he teleports people... but anything he'd be willing to test it on, he'd fret about making it worse, so he hasn't tried anything.
The walk there is uneventful - if he was on his own he could probably teleport between floors at least, but he doesn't want to put Jayce's body through that. So he's mostly quiet while they head up to the Eight floor, and over to Dodger's room. He pauses right outside of the door, hesitating because he straight up doesn't remember how the doorknob works. And that's probably even more obvious when he does finally open the door with as little skill as a grown person could possibly have.]

[Maybe it shouldn't be that shocking, considering the big deal Dodger made about how secret this is- and maybe Jayce overestimates how people feel about their partnersboyfriends. At least until Viktor sees whatever this is for himself.
Jayce steps in, expecting... well. Genuinely expecting dead bodies, since Dodger never refuted the possibility. Maybe implications of cannibalism. Murder weapons everywhere? Torture devices? All the worst things he could think of finding in someone's room they'd kill someone over.]

So what Jayce sees is a completely normal living room - there are a few glass terrariums on the floor near the couch with yellow slimes inside, and it's weirdly cold in here compared to everywhere else in the resort, but that's about it. It looks lived in, or... at least like Dodger does come in here and do things occasionally. Not enough to leave tobacco stains on the walls.
Dodger hesitates again, and steels himself before opening the door to his bedroom and letting Jayce go in ahead of him. In there, there is a normal bed with a bedframe that would probably be easy to attach handcuffs to. Nothing exciting there. The real show-piece is the conspiracy board - or rather, the completely unhinged mess of photos, post-its, red string and notes written directly onto the wall (or across everything else) that covers nearly every inch of all four walls.
They're roughly grouped according to the person the notes concern, with red string connecting people who know each other. Some parts are sparse - people Dodger doesn't know well, or hasn't officially met yet. His friends have much larger sections, with photos ranging from candid to posed during sex. Esikko's section takes up most of the wall next to the door, with LIAR painted across the entire thing with what is hopefully dark red paint. (It isn't. It smells like blood.) And Henry's section takes up a huge chunk of the wall near the bed. Extensive notes, photos, and what looks like sheet music in some spots. And beside that, notes under the words Hans Capon written onto the wall. Keeping track of everything he learns about Hans, and marking the people he's asked to keep an eye out for the lord if he ever shows up.
While Jayce is taking it in, Dodger leans awkwardly on the doorframe, waiting for... some sort of horrified reaction.]

Jayces eyes widen as he looks around, mouth slightly agape, and the first thing he does is… look for the section on himself. Sometimes those narcissistic tendencies can’t be suppressed. After he finds it, he runs a finger along one of the strings carefully, tracking where a few of them go. Definitely staying away from the “LIAR” section there. The smell alone is nauseating.

Because he knows what this board is meant to be - keeping track of Dana Tempest and her rag-tag group of self-proclaimed heroes, or the other gangs in Boston that might overreach in Augustine's turf, or the businessmen and politicians Augustine needed to backstab to get a little more power. What's here is just... the echoes of it, something to keep Dodger busy and aware of his surroundings while he chases his tail waiting for a purpose.
