【 Thank you for choosing the Golden Peacock, 5-star resort and casino. You are currently registered as a WILDCARD in our system.
Due to a high volume of check-ins, temporary accommodations have been made in our new inn for all new arrivals. Wildcards are invited to enjoy rest and relaxation while getting to know their fellow inn patrons. Current guests are encouraged to make reservations at the inn for some self-care. Prices are discounted to celebrate the new year.
All patrons have exclusive access to new additions at Crane's Respite and Heron's Retreat. The inn itself also provides a unique experience unlike anything else in the Golden Peacock.
We aim to have all guests moved into their suites as soon as possible. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience! 】
▶ BLANKET CW: alcohol; BDSM; body modification; competition; costumes; dubcon; group sex; petplay; public sex; punishment; sex toys; stripping; supernatural; transformation
▶ All characters on the TDM are WILDCARDS, which means they have not yet been assigned a card value. Suits will not manifest until characters are accepted into the game.
▶ All TDMs are game canon. This TDM acts as the game's January event.
▶ Current characters may top level on the TDM. Any current characters posting to the TDM should note they are current in their subject header.
▶ The top level directory is for new characters only. We want to make sure new characters are prioritized and receive attention! If you would be interested in a game invitation, you can note that in your comment header. This month we also have an ongoing ATP / EMP where players can connect. Please feel free to utilize this for all of your peafowl needs!
▶ Smut threads that take place on this TDM can be used for rewards. If both parties in the smut thread join the game, you may retroactively apply the character's initial card values to your 52 bank. If one character does not join the game the thread will not be applicable toward rewards (as that character would not have a card value). The character that does join would still receive a small payout for the encounter. Hopefully it was a fun thread regardless!
▶ We ask you to kindly add content warnings to your threads as appropriate.
▶ If you do not currently have permissions and kinks listed in your character’s journal we suggest leaving a note in your top level of any limits or boundaries for other players to reference.
[ No one could ever accuse Maruki of being unaware of those around him. Perhaps at times he's still socially clumsy, but he's always attuned to how people carry themselves, the expressions that flit across their faces with or without their knowledge, the variations in their tone. It's what makes him fairly skilled at adapting to help put others at ease.
And there is no one Maruki is more hyper-aware of than Kurusu Akira.
That unsteadiness rings out so much louder and clearer in his mind than it does in reality. Akira's masks are well-honed, and most wouldn't be able to catch that slight waver at the edges of his words.
But Maruki does, and even as embarrassment of being caught in this bizarre situation together makes his cheeks tinge pink, he can't stop himself from crossing closer. If they're going to have this conversation, they ought to have it quietly; it's not for anyone else but the two of them.
He settles down onto the floor across from Akira, a berth given for him just as much as the cats that have surrounded him (and have zero interest in abandoning their posts to come to Maruki instead.) ]
Of course.
[ Is there a risk that they would remember things differently, or not at all? He's too new to know, but the principles of cognitive psience must apply to every reality; their perceptions could so easily differ. There's always the chance that what Maruki knows to be true is not the same as what Akira does. ]
From my perspective, I just dropped you off at that train station. [ His brows crease, the oddity of his arrival sinking back in. ] And I do mean that I just dropped you off. I feel like I only closed my eyes for a minute after I watched you walk away, and then...
[ A vague gesture of one hand to everything, all around them. ]

Why? What do you remember?
