【 Thank you for choosing the Golden Peacock, 5-star resort and casino. You are currently registered as a WILDCARD in our system.
Due to a high volume of check-ins, temporary accommodations have been made in our new inn for all new arrivals. Wildcards are invited to enjoy rest and relaxation while getting to know their fellow inn patrons. Current guests are encouraged to make reservations at the inn for some self-care. Prices are discounted to celebrate the new year.
All patrons have exclusive access to new additions at Crane's Respite and Heron's Retreat. The inn itself also provides a unique experience unlike anything else in the Golden Peacock.
We aim to have all guests moved into their suites as soon as possible. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience! 】

▶ All characters on the TDM are WILDCARDS, which means they have not yet been assigned a card value. Suits will not manifest until characters are accepted into the game.
▶ All TDMs are game canon. This TDM acts as the game's January event.
▶ Current characters may top level on the TDM. Any current characters posting to the TDM should note they are current in their subject header.
▶ The top level directory is for new characters only. We want to make sure new characters are prioritized and receive attention! If you would be interested in a game invitation, you can note that in your comment header. This month we also have an ongoing ATP / EMP where players can connect. Please feel free to utilize this for all of your peafowl needs!
▶ Smut threads that take place on this TDM can be used for rewards. If both parties in the smut thread join the game, you may retroactively apply the character's initial card values to your 52 bank. If one character does not join the game the thread will not be applicable toward rewards (as that character would not have a card value). The character that does join would still receive a small payout for the encounter. Hopefully it was a fun thread regardless!
▶ We ask you to kindly add content warnings to your threads as appropriate.
▶ If you do not currently have permissions and kinks listed in your character’s journal we suggest leaving a note in your top level of any limits or boundaries for other players to reference.
I'd like to think we're at least a decent enough match that that’s why they ended up bringing you here with me.
[The words are accompanied by a playful wink, an all too excited grin. He knew, he knew that Akira would be back, because if anyone was slippery enough to avoid being turned to stone for so long, it'd be him. Of course. It’s happened one, so it makes sense now that it'd happen twice.
Kazuya leans his chin on his hand, head tilted and grin all too wide, maybe a little more predatory than one might expect of him. The staff certainly must have seen him and Akira prior, countless times together. That’s surely why they’d foisted the poor guy in front of him.
Well, at least he’ll go easy on Akira. Maybe.]
Pretty impressive they caught you in the first place. You're supposed to be an escape artist, aren't you?
[The playfulness, the excitement - it's more than Akira's expecting. This is someone that's forward. It doesn't unsettle him, and anything flustered he feels is kept under lock and key - but it does surprise him. Someone this bold is a good match for him, huh...?
He doesn't hate it, really.
But there's something...
You're supposed to be an escape artist, aren't you?
Something about the wording strikes funny. It pings in his gut as odd.]
I've heard people give me that nickname once or twice before. [His hands fold across the table; he doesn't lean towards the young man, nor does he lean away.] I'm surprised word spreads so fast around here.
[ That reaction... It's less than he thought it would be. This time as his gaze narrows further down onto Akira, it's far less predatory, far less entertained. Now, clear concern etches it's way into his expression.
He'd expected something far more playful in return. He'd expected something different in Akira's rection. ]
Mhm. The staff and long standing guests have ways of knowing things about you here. Even things you never spoken out loud.
[ Gone, is that playful demeanor. Something more sober takes it's place, much like the ache that starts to bloom in his chest. Maybe he should have guessed this might also happen again.
He stops leaning on his hand, setting his arm flat against the table, and his gaze averts.
This is the second time Akira Kurusu has come back.
This is the second time that Akira Kurusu does not remember him.]
... I know it's a weird request, but... Can you show me your upper arm?
[ If the spades mark is there, maybe there's something else going on. If not...
Well, he'll just brace himself for that heartache. ]
[Almost imperceptibly, his hands flinch on the table, quick as the blink of an eye.
The staff and long standing guests have ways of knowing things about you here. Even things you never spoken out loud.
It makes a chill run down his spine. How much do they know? How much of his friends' secrets do they know, all of the ones that Akira keeps closely guarded to his chest? If something happens to him, it's fine, but if it's them...
At the moment, he still has other worries. Something about Akira's words, his reaction, maybe something he didn't do-
The change in the young man is so sudden, so opposite of how he'd been only moments before. Akira doesn't know what he could've done that would cause an expression like this, but something about it... is hard to look at. It makes something ache in his chest.
What did I say, that made you so worried?]
...I don't mind.
[He shakes his head, even as his eyes glance around the room. He doesn't mind showing it to him; he does mind the rest of the room seeing him a little bit more. But if it's only his upper arm, maybe some of his chest to slide the yukata down... It's not that big of a deal. Most people seem pretty distracted with their food and drink or lost in conversation, anyway.
Akira chooses not to think about it anymore. He loosens the front of the yukata just enough for the top of it to slack, pushes it down off of his shoulder...
The only thing that will greet Kazuya's eyes is bared, unmarked skin.]
[The evidence is crystal clear now. Akira doesn't remember him. Akira isn't the same Akira from before, and probably even before that, judging by the complete lack of recognition. It's obvious then, that he's worried him with his words, and put him on edge, at least a little.
His fingers drum against the table, an outlet for his own energy that he has to direct somewhere.]
I'm sorry. How I acted initially- It must have been surprising to you. I promise I won't try anything.
[Especially here, especially now. He's not entirely convinced the food and drink isn't drugged, but if anything like that happens, there's no other choice than to simply get his shit together and not act on it.]
I've been here for awhile now. I can answer any questions you might have, or help you with anything you might need. Please don't hesitate, I know a lot about this place, and I'd like to help you in whatever way I can.
[It's best if he adopts a far more formal, polite tone. Better that then to make Akira further uncomfortable by being familiar and casual with him, isn't it?]
