【 Thank you for choosing the Golden Peacock, 5-star resort and casino. You are currently registered as a WILDCARD in our system. We have arranged for a selection of basement suites to temporarily house new arrivals until reservations have been processed. We hope you'll join us in giving our new guests a warm and loving welcome.
We have an exciting announcement! The house will be hosting a carnival for all guests to celebrate the Golden Peacock's birthday. Please look forward to food, games, and attractions in the Cloud-Dwelling Garden. The carnival will be available for guests to enjoy for seven days. Happy birthday week, Golden Peacock*!
We hope you are as thrilled as we are! And, as always, we hope you enjoy your stay.
*Please note that this is an arbitrarily chosen date for the Golden Peacock's birthday, which is unknown. 】
▶ All characters on the TDM are WILDCARDS, which means they have not yet been assigned a card value. Suits will not manifest until characters are accepted into the game.
▶ All TDMs are game canon and this TDM acts as the game's July event. The carnival will run July 15th - July 22nd.
▶ The top level directory is for new characters only. We want to make sure new characters are prioritized and receive attention! If you would be interested in a game invitation, you can note that in your comment header. We also have a summer ATP / EMP where players can connect. Please feel free to utilize this for all of your peafowl needs!
▶ If you aren't satisfied with these prompts, please feel free to check out our LOCATIONS to explore more of the resort!
▶ Smut threads that take place on this TDM can be used for rewards. If both parties in the smut thread join the game, you may retroactively apply the character's initial card values to your 52 bank. If one character does not join the game the thread will not be applicable toward rewards (as that character would not have a card value). The character that does join would still receive a small payout for the encounter. Hopefully it was a fun thread regardless!
▶ We ask you to kindly add content warnings to your threads as appropriate.
▶ If you do not currently have permissions and kinks listed in your character’s journal we suggest leaving a note in your top level of any limits or boundaries for other players to reference.
[Vil is familiar with the concept of gachapon, and he's still peering at the machines skeptically. Or maybe his gaze is more so aimed at the poses of the Lafoufou advertised on the capsule machine. Nothing can simply be adorable around here, can it?
He does seem to reconsider that thought when he sees what Noé wins from the machine.]
Maybe the more objectionable poses are the higher rarity ones.
[ He's happy with his little new friend. It's actually purple, a shade that's quite similar to the purple in Vil's hair and Noé's eyes. A happy coincidence! Noé is much happier with this than he would've been with the Lafoufou of the hour, really.
He steps aside and gestures towards the machine. The mysterious guest hovering over Noé's shoulder starts watching Vil, too. ]
[It's... Well, seeing the little plush figure up close does make it more appealing than just looking at the poster. And it's just one.]
Why not? I suppose it's a better return than anything in the casino.
[At least you're guaranteed something rather than throwing chips into a slot machine. He takes Noé's place in front of the machine to turn the crank and listen to a capsule rattle around inside of it. When he retrieves the capsule, he pulls out a silver Lafoufou in a lounging position, propped up on one elbow. It's a coy pose, but not as blatant as the more prominently featured Lafoufou.]
Hm... I think this one is the same rarity as yours.
[He glances at their little figurines and compares them with the poster. Just a few machines down from them, another guest is continuously pulling from the machine, the ground littered with Lafoufou capsules.]
[ Something is better than nothing! The Lafoufou that Vil pulls grabs Noé's attention, and his eyes are sparkling as he looks at the lounging Lafoufou before him. Much cuter than the featured one, he thinks, that's for sure. ]
Really? Then I think these are a lot cuter than the one that they're advertising!
[ Noé's Lafoufou is posed just as suggestively as Vil's; it doing something like a come hither pose, but it's not as outrageous as the big booty Lafoufou. Speaking of the guest next to them, there's a loud groan and the sound of a capsule dropping on the ground. The guests behind them are starting to complain about the holdup. ]
Wow... Do people really use everything they have to get the one they want?
[ He's honestly content with his little buddy over here. Gacha is a new concept for him. ]
[If he was back in his world, he would perhaps be more restrained in how he talks about cute things in case it ended up as an endorsement on social media, but the lack of that was one of the few nice things about the resort.
Of course, he follows the attention to the other gacha machine, lips quirking into an exasperated frown.]
The ones who are easily addicted, yes. It can be a problem.
[He makes a wide gesture to the rest of the attractions with his free hand, cradling the capsule Lafoufou in his other hand.]
Beyond here, you have to pay for everything with chips you earn from sex or the casino. So being easily addicted can be terrible.
[ The wheels are slowly turning in his head...give him a second. ]
Addicted? ... To these "Lafoufous"? Or is it more that they just keep going until they get what they want?
[ And when you couple that sort of materialistic addiction with how you earn these little tokens in the first place? Yeah, that sort of lines up. He's quickly learning that sex is very pleasurable, and he's not really familiar with what a casino is, but he can at least guess that it's some sort of guilty pleasure. ]
Either way, I think you're right. Addiction seems to be what drives this place we're in... [ Especially with how people are fighting in the other line, now. ] It could be much worse, though, right? I mean, as silly as it is, it's better that they're arguing over toys instead of something more consequential...
