【 Thank you for choosing the Golden Peacock, 5-star resort and casino. You are currently registered as a WILDCARD in our system.
Due to a high volume of check-ins, temporary accommodations have been made in our parking garage for all new arrivals. We aim to have all guests moved into their reserved rooms as soon as possible. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience!
All are invited to There Is No Tomorrow, a Phoenix Casino soiree to celebrate our beloved guests. The festivities will begin at 1800 hours on January 20th and end at 1800 hours on January 27th. Please look forward to 168 hours of delight.
In an effort to raise happiness and encourage better guest relationships, attendance is required. The house will assist guests that are too shy to appear of their own accord. Please note that black tie attire is mandatory. As always, we hope you enjoy your stay! 】
PARKING GARAGE
ANY CAR IN A STORM
PHOENIX CASINO HALL
WELCOME TO THE NEXT 168 HOURS
Phoenix Casino is a-flutter with activity and packed to the beak with guests. As a famously ever-changing space, the staff would be remiss if they didn't deck the crown jewel of the Golden Peacock out. The casino glitters from top to bottom, shining brighter than diamonds, rubies, sapphires, opals! Party-goers are shiny and glamorous with picture perfect makeup, fluttering gowns, and sharp suits. Card tables are packed and the slot machines are a-ringing as guests play, play, play! Prizes, luxury, booze, attractive people, it's the place that everyone wants to be at.
Those people being dragged inside by some invisible force...? Silly, they were so excited to come that their bodies moved before they realized what was happening. Those are struggles of joy and definitely not the casino's infamous ghost hands dragging unwilling guests to the party at the behest of the house. Look, they're literally hurling their bodies at the card tables with unrestrained glee!
All clocks indicating day hours and night hours have been removed from the casino. Once a guest has entered, their Watch will jam, making it impossible to keep track of the time. You don't need to worry about that tonight.

▶ All TDMs are game canon. This TDM acts as the game's January event.
▶ Current characters may top level on the TDM. Any current characters posting to the TDM should note they are current in their subject header.
▶ The top level directory is for new characters only. We want to make sure new characters are prioritized and receive attention! If you would be interested in a game invitation, you can note that in your comment header. This month we also have an ongoing ATP / EMP where players can connect. Please feel free to utilize this for all of your peafowl needs!
▶ If you aren't satisfied with these prompts, please feel free to check out our LOCATIONS to explore more of the resort!
▶ Smut threads that take place on this TDM can be used for rewards. If both parties in the smut thread join the game, you may retroactively apply the character's initial card values to your 52 bank. If one character does not join the game the thread will not be applicable toward rewards (as that character would not have a card value). The character that does join would still receive a small payout for the encounter. Hopefully it was a fun thread regardless!

[ At least there's someone conscious inside, though from behind a thick layer of glass, it sounds a bit touch and go. And likewise, familiar...? How could he not remember the first voice he'd heard when awakening in this place. Paused on that threshold, Kizuna's senses fan, latching onto that little spark, all pale sweetness. ]
Oh! I know that voice! [ He jiggles the handle again, more gently this time. ] We were married, once.
[ Pleasant and mellow now as he considers his options. ]
[ does he? robin has an inkling of who might be the mystery man behind the door. the voice is familiar. seeing his face would probably do the trick. the buttons just below the window don't seem to be working. it makes sense because the car isn't running. who would guess a vehicle housed in the golden peacock would act just like a normal one? amazing. ]
No, I don't. [ hunger. thirst. some kind of mix between the two. as he taps against the window with his knuckles, robin frowns at how useless he feels. ] And were we married? I feel like that'd be pretty important to remember.
It is pretty important. But don't worry too much about it for now.
[ Like all things in this place, even concepts such as marriage can seem transient. He supposes a concept is better than a whole person, there and then gone; he just keeps that thought to himself. But Kizuna doesn't seem to mind it at the moment, giving a gentle tap back against the window to signal where he is. Romansu. ]
Oh, but I like this game. I have dark hair, and I'm super handsome. There's a piercing in my left ear.
[ With gentle tip-taps along the windowpane, Kizuna's silhouette leads towards the front driver's side of the car. ]
[ dark hair. super handsome. there were a lot of handsome people at this resort, right? or were they cute? to robin, pretty much everything and anything could be the latter. the former however is certainly more memorable. the string attached to the lightbulb is getting pulled and there are flickers, but nothing stays on for too long. click. click.
yeah. it's coming back to him. ]
You like music. You said you liked classical music. Sorry, I never had a chance to sing for you like I wanted...
[ he's crawling up to the front though it's a somewhat uncomfortable journey of squeezing himself in between the seats, where the stick shift sort of digs into his skin as he moves up. some thumping, some very soft and muffled noises later, and he's sitting behind the steering wheel. ]
That's okay. [ Kizuna soothes through the window. ] What's the adage? "Absence makes the heart grow fonder"? I'd be content to think of it like that. Waiting doesn't bother me.
[ It's nice to talk for talking's sake, filling up the in-between moments while Robin follows his instructions. Waiting for his cue, Kizuna steps back a moment to consider the make of the car. Western style, as far as he sees. ]
Is there a button or a slot to the right of the steering wheel? Or maybe keys nearby? In the glovebox, or the visor right above you.
[ Gesturing his hands upwards, he indicates the space above the seat. ]
There's probably a lot of compartments. Fancy, fancy...
[ there are a lot of compartments, a lot of little nooks and crannies where some keys might be hidden. but at the same time, there are an equal number of buttons that look pretty pressable to him. would they work with the car not running? he doesn't know but it never hurts to try. maybe after he digs around for a while. ]
Yeah, there's a lot to go through. [ vocalizing his thoughts out loud, as best as he can. ] You think someone would really leave their keys inside their car?
[ maybe if they had a spare set they'd take with them. doesn't seem particularly smart, if someone were to try to steal it. but he opens a few of the side ones by the wheel finding nothing except many, many condoms. nik-l-nip sized lube bottles. ]
Oh! I think I got something. [ a small key fob. little buttons he can press on them. when he hits the one with an open padlock, he laughs tiredly. ]
Should be open... come on in.
[ and then he accidentally taps another and the car starts up, blaring loud 70s disco music. behind him, a tiny ball starts to spin as lights begin to twinkle all inside of the car. 🪩 ]
[ Kizuna's gaze brightens when he hears the telltale noise of the car unlocking. ]
Right, pardon me~
[ Pulling the door open on Robin's side, Kizuna peers in, a pleasant smile quirked at the corners of his mouth. Noting the party atmosphere, he leans in and reaches over the other boy to softly turn the volume dial down. The disco ball... well. That's probably fine. ]
We meet again. [ Retracting his arm, he leans against the car's frame. ] Ready for me to whisk you away? Or would you prefer to stay here for a while?
[ the party atmosphere seems muted as kizuna crosses by him to turn down the volume and time itself seems to slow down... memories come back as quickly as they had apparently left, like color being brought to a picture in grayscale.
so as he continues to stare, robin nods dumbly in agreement--- to the questions despite there being two of them with opposing before realizing: ]
I... get me out of here.
[ he grabs onto kizuna's side, pressing his forehead against his stomach. please. ]
[ Momentarily stilled by the gesture, he can't help but smile at the flourish of color that imbues his memories as they return. Kizuna lowers his arms, giving Robin's hair a gentle scrub. Just in time, he thinks. ]
Okay. Let's catch up somewhere more comfortable.
[ Leaning down, Kizuna shuffles him about to get him in prime lifting position. Despite the way he looks, he's actually quite strong — it doesn't take a lot of effort to shrug Robin's arms over his shoulders so can support him from his seat as he lifts him out of the car. ]
Oof... there! [ A tip of his head to indicate a wink. ] Easy~ now, somewhere quiet or somewhere more lively?
[ ... wow, he's actually pretty strong? robin isn't going like, full ragdoll on kizuna but it's certainly a pleasant surprise. then again, the feeling in his legs isn't exactly quite there. something about stiff and cramped he feels even when he's in prime carrying position, so it's probably for the best that he's getting aid in this way.
the top of his forehead nudges against kizuna's cheek while he closes his eyes. right. this is much more comfortable than a car, even a nice one. ]
Anywhere that isn't here.
[ because there's certainly commotion going on around them. he trusts that his husband would know somewhere appropriate for them. even if that somewhere is just in his arms for a second or two longer. ]
[ Content to let him lull in his arms, Kizuna steps away from the car, dutifully shutting its door behind them. Goodbye, disco ball... party on. ]
Hmm, in that case~ [ Spinning a little on his heel, the motion controlled and soft enough so as not to jostle his precious cargo, Kizuna begins to march off through the rows of cars. Focusing on one soul's emotions is much easier than spreading himself too thin over the din of the garage and all its misplaced arrivals. ] I think I know just the spot.
[ Reaching the elevator, Kizuna patiently idles while he waits for it, stepping in and quickly hitting the button to seal them in the silence alone. Sorry fellow patrons, wife comes first. ]
But it's a far way to go by elevator. You can relax here though.
[ he wishes that he could have a husband like kizuna forever. something about how graceful and gracious he is, this kind of charm that has robin's head spinning despite feeling comfortable and table. that as they depart the chaos of the garage in favor of soft and smooth jazz that is more pleasant to the ears. ]
I know we can. [ snuggles a little tighter into kizuna. ] You're here, so... how can't I feel relaxed?
[ a light, gentle laugh follows. it's true. he hasn't felt this way in a long time. the tension in his body... it's certainly easing. ]
You've been okay, right? I'm sorry I haven't been a very good friend.
Aha, music to my ears and you didn't even have to sing. That's talent.
[ As the elevator carries them up from the parking garage, floor after floor from the basement to the mid-levels, then still upwards, Kizuna sways a little with the obligatory music, also finding it preferable to whatever all that was. ]
There's no need for you to worry. I've been just fine~ I've been looking after a couple friends of yours, too. But I'm sure they'd also tell you not to worry.
