basically Akeha is the head of a house of trained assassins and has been raised since childhood to be a tool for her house, in a place with no room for love, mercy or kindness. In order to cope she detaches herself from her own humanity in order to fulfill her role, and once she becomes the head of her household, ponders if she is being kept against her will, or if she chose her path.

basically: assassin milf who turns off her feelings to deal with how miserable her life is. just nier things

I’m not in game so I am completely useless BUT always happy to see some Nier Rein love!! Nier Rein is probably my favorite mobile game, and just an overall favorite. Those character stories, like. Tears on the regular. Unbelievable. The first few chapters hit me so hard and had me hooked.

I often still have these extremely sad but cranky moments where I’ll be like “Nier Rein is dead. This can’t be real, wtf,” SO!!! Thank you for playing one of those sad, lovely characters. 💗

BIG SAME... I straight up can't play mobile games normally but I was glued to Nier Rein for so long... I mourn its loss every day and I wish it had been able to go on longer.

akeha meeting either of mine is gonna half amuse me, one is a stoic af wolf that would honestly understand that too well since texas is a former heiress. only difference is she sorta uh, killed her dad and set the mansion on fire before leaving after a duel with her childhood friend.

akeha won't say so but she'll have a lot of respect for that form of rebellion, lol. she rebelled by saving a young target she was sent to kill and eventually they live together peacefully. it's very sweet!

SOMEHOW IN A YOKO TARO GAME..........even if i don't hit her up with texas, i am totally down for arlecchino meeting her because i didn't mention these things before? but she actually runs a whole ass group in the organization she's part of that's comprised of orphaned children.

a lot of them stick with her despite being child soldiers since she takes care of them, it's just their views on her mixed: some speak positively, others speak poorly, and some aren't too sure what to think of her. they all do agree that were it not for her, they would have been worse off. she also refuses to be called "mother" like the original knave and instead has them call her "father".
