TDM 06

【 Thank you for choosing the Golden Peacock, 5-star resort and casino. You are currently registered as a WILDCARD in our system.
On behalf of the house and resort, we would like to advise all Game 52 players to exercise caution around the Golden Peacock for the next few weeks. The veil between 'what is' and 'what has been' grows thin and the threads of fate have tangled in unexpected ways. We are currently observing how these two phenomena behave when they occur simultaneously and act in concert.
We advise that all guests monitor their physical states until the veil thickens once again and the threads of fate return to running parallel. If you find yourself undergoing any strange transformations, please report to the Broken Wing clinic for observation. We will do our utmost to make sure you are comfortable during this time.
You may also notice other strange phenomena around the Golden Peacock while the veil is thin. Please continue to exercise caution. New wayward spirits have joined us during this time. While spirits are crossing, it is possible for guests to get swept along into the ghostly realm.
As always, please let us know if there is anything we can do to improve your stay. 】

OOC NOTES
▶ All characters on the TDM are WILDCARDS, which means they have not yet been assigned a card value. Suits will not manifest until characters are accepted into the game.
▶ All TDMs are game canon. This TDM acts as the game's October event. Changes to the above locations will ICly be present from October 15th - November 3rd. All supernatural phenomenon will increase in strength over time, culminating in peak activity on All Hallows' Eve. The days following Halloween will relax, leading into eventual normalcy. Some locations are spared the supernatural frenzy, so players can play as normal if they wish to avoid these tropes/prompts. Players may assume that the supernatural come and go in the above specifically incorporated locations.
▶ Current characters may top level on the TDM. Any current characters posting to the TDM should note they are current in their subject header.
▶ The top level directory is for new characters only. We want to make sure new characters are prioritized and receive attention! If you would be interested in a game invitation, you can note that in your comment header.
▶ If you aren't satisfied with these prompts, please feel free to check out our LOCATIONS to explore more of the resort!
▶ Smut threads that take place on this TDM can be used for rewards. If both parties in the smut thread join the game, you may retroactively apply the character's initial card values to your 52 bank. If one character does not join the game the thread will not be applicable toward rewards (as that character would not have a card value). The character that does join would still receive a small payout for the encounter. Hopefully it was a fun thread regardless!
▶ We ask you to kindly add content warnings to your threads as appropriate. This TDM in particular has the potential to get real wild, so we want to emphasize this request!
▶ If you do not currently have permissions and kinks listed in your character’s journal we suggest leaving a note in your top level of any limits or boundaries for other players to reference.
▶ Go forth and let your freak flag fly!

Not that it puts Kiritsubo in to some sort of altruistic hurry or anything. Though she calls out with a slightly raised voice,]
Coming~!
[To announce her intent or that some sort of help was on the way, her pace is still a walk, allowing the occupant of the morgue drawer to grow increasingly frantic. He sounds quite powerful, judging by the sound volume of those bangs... Or, perhaps simply very frantic. Either way, its a few more seconds before they'll hear the click of a latch, feel a rush of "fresh" air...
And the drawer slides out, freeing them from their impromptu metal coffin.]

As Dark is rolled out, the hard surface he's been laid on hits the end of a track like a cheap office drawer. He can't make out who he sees at first, blinded by asylum-like lighting that when left to should leave anyone a headache. His hospital gown doesn't cover him for long, and he claws it off like a wild dog stuck in a bib. It's a violent motion— his expression twists. He'd never put this shit on himself. The fabric flutters off to the side.
Dark sits up all at once and it's as if the thick fall of his hair begins to bristle in line with his anger. His lips pull back and show his teeth. ]
Kh—! This Hell? Who put me in here?!
no subject
But Kiritsubo is neither concerned nor stupid. She learned centuries ago when Kiyoami was racing to just stay out of his way or calm him down with more intimate methods, so once she undoes the fasteners and begins the roll… she steps back to lean casually against the slightly reflective metal wall and observe.
Observe… quite a bit more than she anticipated, but. Who’s complaining?]
Settle down, big boy.
[As his eyes accustom to the light he’ll be able to see her clearer, a tall, lithe beauty with a bit of an edge, her painted lips sharp at the corners with an interest shared by the sparkle in golden eyes.]
I can’t point you at anyone, but you’re free to go looking now if you want.
no subject
You know how long I was in there?
[ First things first— he'll realize she's hot once he gathers his bearings. ]
no subject
[That answer comes out easily enough, a single word in a playful tone that… really doesn’t seem to match the deserted morgue aesthetic, but. Neither does the woman herself, seeing as she looks like she’d just wandered in here from a cocktail party. In fact,]
We resort guests aren’t usually allowed back here, I think, so I just got curious and poked my head in…
[But after a brief glance around, (no zombies, her keen ears detect none at the moment), she turns her golden eyes back on the naked man in the morgue drawer. A more… considerate glance, this time. Taking him in. Trying to place him. But even if by some miracle she didn’t recall the face…]
I don’t think I’ve seen you around before.
[She doubts she would have forgotten that… gifted physique.]
no subject
Definitely could've been met by someone ugly, so it's not like I'm about to complain. I was in Hell about to fight some demon lady before I wound up here instead, so nope, you definitely wouldn't have seen me around.
[ He summons his attire, and the air around him whirls as it materializes. Dark's cloak whips through gusts a couple of times before settling around him. ]
I'm Dark Schneider— the biggest, baddest, and most handsome wizard in the universe. Didn't think I'd be making a detour, but guess a spin-off series can't hurt if it has a pretty girl like you in it.
no subject
But she also doesn’t detect a lie in the man’s voice or body language, let alone what she can「see」with her eyes, so… Fine, Hell it was.
The fashion magic has some drama to it, even if she purses her lip slightly as if displeased when he did it. (Honestly, that wuuck to cover up?)]
Can’t say I’ve heard of you… But the universe is far more vast than most consider.
[She gives a small shrug, a hand propped on her hip.]
I’m afraid saying “welcome” is about all I’m qualified to do as a welcome committee, but…
[Her golden eyes narrow slightly, watching him closely even if her stance did not seem to betray any particular guard.]
If you’re used to hell, this place shouldn’t be so bad. Rejoice~

[ This explanation makes the most sense and takes the least amount of effort to ponder. Dark stretches his arms over his head as he's welcomed, peacocking his physique for attention. He takes his eyes off of Kiritsubo for a moment, just to look the place over. ]
Don't tell me the whole thing's a morgue.
[ He scoffs this playfully, assuming that it can't be. There's no way someone like Kiritsubo would happily welcome him to somewhere shitty, right? She's not giving off any malicious energy or anything. Quite the opposite! ]
What do I call you?
no subject
[She doesn't miss a beat with the introduction, matching his delightfully unconcerned tone. That sort of thing is completely fine by her, after all. So is the peacocking... and Kiritsubo makes no secret of the fact that she is taking in the show, even if she had to deal with the tragedy of him having redressed. Normally with a man that cocky and muscular she would have reasonable concerns he was compensating for something but...
It's nice to meet people naked. She already knows what he's working with.]
As for this "Golden Peacock"... Even though you can't tell from here, it's a casino resort. One that for some reason comes with a morgue.
[That peculiarity had been what drove her to peek her head in and investigate now that things had grown chaotic with the undead and the normally off limits area had become accesible, but... Her investment has yet to become desperate, her interest still more idle. After all, what was wrong with a little vacation? And when vacationing...
Hmm. Had she heard some rumor about fucking newbies to have some sort of benefit?]
no subject
[ He'll remember her. ]
The morgue for losers who die at the pachinko machines or what? Don't get why I showed up there when I'm super duper alive.
[ Ah. Something's on his toe— he feels it there. For a moment, Dark squats and begins to wiggle off a boot. Stupid, considering that he'd just materialized it in the first place and can easily make it disappear. ]
—You don't have to answer, by the way. It's fine if you don't know. We'll probably just get a story to the whole thing written in later. You should tell me more important stuff, like if there are any other noteworthy cha— people here.
[ Tug, tug. There goes his boot, and next comes his sock. ]
no subject
Beats me~ I received a far nicer welcome than you have, awakening in a luxurious bed with a conveniently naked surprise.
[And she had been so terribly unbothered by her transportation that she'd made sure to enjoy that man before alighting into the casino to discover just what matter of tomfoolery was going about in this place. The answer: a lot.
It is a bit foolish watching him work his way out of his boot when he had just demonstrated the ability to summon, and therefore, theoretically, banish his own clothing, but...]
As for "noteworthy"... there are far too many people in this place that match that description.
[If you apply it liberally.]
no subject
[ Dark is barefoot now on one side, and his brows furrow in momentary bewilderment when reading the tag that's been left. He yanks it up in his palm before, hilariously, rematerializing the sock and boot back onto himself. He's not about to mention Arshe when another perfectly beautiful and fuckable woman is right here in front of him! If there's one thing he's learned in his own experience, it's that majority of women hate when other women are talked about right in front of them. ]
—This'll be fun for me. I'll just take over this casino place too, then!
[ "Too," he says. As his shoulders lift and an appropriately villainous laugh breaks the chilly air after, a demonic and powerful presence permeates and fills the morgue alongside it— Golden Peacock has certainly brought someone very unpleasant here. The Adam of Darkness himself... ]
