TDM 06

【 Thank you for choosing the Golden Peacock, 5-star resort and casino. You are currently registered as a WILDCARD in our system.
On behalf of the house and resort, we would like to advise all Game 52 players to exercise caution around the Golden Peacock for the next few weeks. The veil between 'what is' and 'what has been' grows thin and the threads of fate have tangled in unexpected ways. We are currently observing how these two phenomena behave when they occur simultaneously and act in concert.
We advise that all guests monitor their physical states until the veil thickens once again and the threads of fate return to running parallel. If you find yourself undergoing any strange transformations, please report to the Broken Wing clinic for observation. We will do our utmost to make sure you are comfortable during this time.
You may also notice other strange phenomena around the Golden Peacock while the veil is thin. Please continue to exercise caution. New wayward spirits have joined us during this time. While spirits are crossing, it is possible for guests to get swept along into the ghostly realm.
As always, please let us know if there is anything we can do to improve your stay. 】

OOC NOTES
▶ All characters on the TDM are WILDCARDS, which means they have not yet been assigned a card value. Suits will not manifest until characters are accepted into the game.
▶ All TDMs are game canon. This TDM acts as the game's October event. Changes to the above locations will ICly be present from October 15th - November 3rd. All supernatural phenomenon will increase in strength over time, culminating in peak activity on All Hallows' Eve. The days following Halloween will relax, leading into eventual normalcy. Some locations are spared the supernatural frenzy, so players can play as normal if they wish to avoid these tropes/prompts. Players may assume that the supernatural come and go in the above specifically incorporated locations.
▶ Current characters may top level on the TDM. Any current characters posting to the TDM should note they are current in their subject header.
▶ The top level directory is for new characters only. We want to make sure new characters are prioritized and receive attention! If you would be interested in a game invitation, you can note that in your comment header.
▶ If you aren't satisfied with these prompts, please feel free to check out our LOCATIONS to explore more of the resort!
▶ Smut threads that take place on this TDM can be used for rewards. If both parties in the smut thread join the game, you may retroactively apply the character's initial card values to your 52 bank. If one character does not join the game the thread will not be applicable toward rewards (as that character would not have a card value). The character that does join would still receive a small payout for the encounter. Hopefully it was a fun thread regardless!
▶ We ask you to kindly add content warnings to your threads as appropriate. This TDM in particular has the potential to get real wild, so we want to emphasize this request!
▶ If you do not currently have permissions and kinks listed in your character’s journal we suggest leaving a note in your top level of any limits or boundaries for other players to reference.
▶ Go forth and let your freak flag fly!

vampire tseng tho >.>
And there's certainly nothing subtle or subdued about the pleasure happening here at the moment, he notes with amusement as he moves deeper inside. This is a scene he thought would be more likely found at one of the clubs rather than the laidback lounge he's visited previously. But he heads to the bar all the same, intent on getting a drink, because he's not sure he's quite ready to wade deeper into the lounge just yet.
Unaware of the faint flush that's rising on his skin as he breathes in the smoke. Or the hungry eyes he draws as he crosses the room. ]
huehuehue :3c
and judging by the way some of those predators are eyeing him, if tseng doesn't intervene then sylvain is going to be in for more than he bargained for. he leaves his cocktail on a side table to be cleared away by a servant and makes his way down the dais toward the bar, where sylvain is leaning on the bartop, instants away from ordering. ]
You'll want to be careful what you choose, [ tseng says. he slips into an empty space next to sylvain and locks eyes with the vampire on sylvain's other side; although no words are exchanged, the force of tseng's presence (and the psychic pressure he applies) are enough to force the other creature away, for now. ] Not all of the drinks here are fit for human consumption.
[ his gaze flicks over sylvain, assessing him from head to toe. any signs of monster transformation? bite marks in the neck, ears atop his head? ]
no subject
He glances over in surprise at the voice, recognition flaring almost immediately as he relaxes again, shooting Tseng a crooked grin. ] Well, if it isn’t Mr. Truth or Dare.
[ He doesn’t miss that exchange of looks - or the way the stranger who’d been in the process of sidling closer on his other side suddenly remembers far more important places to be at the moment. Interesting. He’d known there was something differently happening here tonight, but apparently it was even more layered than he’d realized.
But for now, he just plays along, arching an eyebrow and leaning one elbow casually on the bar as he angles himself towards Tseng instead. ]
I feel like with whatever game the House is currently running, ‘human’ is pretty questionable in general right now. I take it they have more than their usual kick of questionable outcomes?
no subject
turning his back to the bar, tseng leans on it with his elbows and looks out at the crowd, although his focus is wholly on sylvain. ]
You're not wrong. [ there have been all manner of creature wandering the resort's halls ever since the full moon came to hang ominously in the lobby. whether those two things are connected, tseng couldn't say for certain, but he is definitely drawing some conclusions. ] I don't think the questionable outcomes have to do with the drinks, though—some of them would just be unpleasant for you.
[ and to demonstrate why, tseng bares his teeth, exposing the long, sharp incisors growing down. he traces his tongue over the point of one, then closes his mouth once he's pretty sure sylvain has gotten the idea. ]
no subject
But the sudden view of fangs is certainly telling - in part, at least. And Sylvain blinks at the reveal of them, although with far more curiosity than wariness. Clearly he hadn't picked up on any psychic warning signs along the way. Or maybe he had and just wasn't phased by them. It's not as if he's known for making healthy life choices. ]
Well, those are new. Courtesy of the resort? Or a resident? [ At least he's learned that much by now. ]
no subject
the question earns a wry half-smile, and tseng's gaze briefly flicks elsewhere before returning to sylvain. ]
A resident, [ he says. rufus, at that, which makes the whole thing incredibly complicated. ] I don't think it will last—at least, I'm hoping it won't.
[ none of the effects granted by the resort's other games have lingered for longer than a handful of weeks, and tseng hopes that the monster stuff will be the same. ]
You've managed to avoid it for now, I take it? Vampirism, or any other sort of monsterhood.
no subject
[ He knows nothing can be said for certain of the whims of this place - they're as changeable and capricious as the sea - but if this current game holds to routine, the effects will fade after the game ends. There might be small lingering effects, but the big changes rarely remain.
That final observation gets a quiet snort of amusement from him as he rolls his eyes towards the ceiling, lips quirking wryly. ]
Oh, hardly. I spent the last two nights running about the Vale howling at the moon. [ And "hunting". Lots and lots of hunting. ] I woke up this morning feeling a little more myself, though. For the time being, anyway.
[ He playfully gestures at the lounge around them, shooting Tseng a smirk. ] I think you've definitely won the more comfortable accommodations, however.
no subject
[ little does tseng know that there will be some aspects that linger, even if the sharp teeth don't. for now, he's only hoping that the entire vampire thing will go the same way as the rabbit thing had back in springtime—that is to say, vanish one day and never come back. ]
Ah, my condolences, [ tseng says with a quirked smile. ] I'm glad you're feeling better. That gives me hope that I might soon, too.
[ the gesture toward the other vampires occupying the smoked egg has tseng's gaze tracking across the room, taking in the perfumed mist filling the space, the writhing shapes of bodies in the throes of pleasure or pain. it is certainly a den of hedonism, that much is obvious. ]
Is it to your tastes? [ tseng gives sylvain a quick once-over. maybe he's better adjusted to this place than tseng knew. ] You're welcome to stay. I'll do my best to keep them from making a meal of you.
no subject
But he chuckles as Tseng voices his concern. At least, he thinks it was concern? Leaning his elbows on the bar, he gives the other man an easy grin. ]
It’s not not to my tastes, but it is a little over the top. But so is everything in the resort, so they’re at least being predictable about it.
You don’t have to get stuck playing my babysitter for the night, though. That doesn’t sound like much fun for you. Besides. Shouldn’t you be looking to make a meal?
no subject
I couldn't live with myself if I bit someone who didn't want it, and the prospect of finding someone who does want it seems daunting, [ he says by way of explanation. ] I'm keeping myself... or at least my thirst satisfied with cocktails, for now.
[ to say nothing of the low-grade arousal that's been a constant since he entered the smoked egg, but that's neither here nor there, unless sylvain is inclined to make tseng's half-hard dick his business. at any rate, there may come a time where tseng's patience reaches its breaking point and he's forced to take more drastic measures, but for the time being he's doing all right. ]
What about you, though? Unless being a vampire's snack does it for you, in which case who am I to deter you?
