TDM 05

【 Thank you for choosing the Golden Peacock, 5-star resort and casino. You are currently registered as a WILDCARD in our system.
Due to a high volume of check-ins, temporary accommodations have been made in our KING SUITES for all new arrivals. We will endeavor to have all guests moved into their reserved rooms as soon as possible. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience.
As a token of our gratitude for your understanding, front reception has arranged for a GRAND FEAST to welcome our newest guests. The attendance of all guests is required. The house will enforce compliance.
Please note that rank-appropriate attire is mandatory. Guests found breaking social code may be disciplined. We hope you enjoy your stay! 】

ARRIVAL
DIVINE AWAKENING

All King suites have been set to the Heavenly setting for the comfort of these new Wildcards. To call this place a room feels like a misnomer; all of the senses scream that this is a real temple at the top of a crisp oceanside mountain. The only clue that this place isn't what it seems is the door in the distance. It stands dark against light, a stark rectangle distinctly out of place.
New arrivals aren't waking up alone. Reception would never expect their guests to wake up in a cold bed. All new guests will be waking up next to another Wildcard or a current guest snatched up from the hallways. Guests waking up in these heavenly King suites will wake dressed in sheer white tunics and togas that leave very little to the imagination.
GILDED CAGE
AN ENDLESS FEAST

Rugs and cushions have been laid out for low rank guests. All high rank guests have thrones and benches covered in crushed velvet and delicate linens. Wildcards have a seat of honor amongst it all, each fresh new divine lead to the grand dais for their own semi-private tent with daybed and eager servants.
Low ranks are carefully watched by security and wait staff. Some low rank guests may even be dragged in by resort staff to assist serving high rank guests and Wildcards. All high rank guests and Wildcards are revered and catered to during the feast. Low rank guests are expected to feed them, rub their feet, and comply with any whimsical demands. Any low rank guest that defies a higher ranked guest is at risk of being shackled, forced to scrub chamber pots, and other humiliating punishments.

PHOENIX CASINO
ALEA IACTA EST

The game tables are abuzz. Special games have kicked off in honor of the new godlings that are waiting to check in. Even here, those of different ranks are distinct from one another. The lowest ranks wear small slips of clothing. Some are even collared to show they belong to a particular royal or Wildcard. Royals and Wildcards dress luxuriously in thick robes and golden jewelry.
Game managers clap and encourage guests of all ranks to join in on the fun. While there are numerous card games, slot machines, and raffles happening around the casino, staff are promoting three events in particular.
BEAK
ENTERTAIN YOUR BETTERS

Beneath the open arena is a smaller closed arena and the warrior’s bunk. Warriors will find cold showers, rustic wooden benches, and training weapons available for their use. Deep in the earth is a grimy prison where servants who refuse to battle are thrown to wait for their turn. There are also cages where the hungry “animals” wait to go out and entertain the masses.
A long track rings around the perimeter of the arena. Gone is the standard green fuzz and white lines, replaced with stone and dust to elicit the real feeling of running beneath the hot Grecian sun. Foot and chariot races take place throughout the day.
TALON
SHOW OF STRENGTH

Servants that appear too fragile to handle mud wrestling have been conscripted into the oil bearer role. Their job is to slather the warriors in oil from head to toe, and otherwise prepare them for their matches in either the arena or in the pit. This includes styling their hair, tending to their wounds, and wiping the sweat off of their bodies if so desired.
The locker rooms that connect Beak and Talon have been fully stocked with first aid kits and luxury bathing supplies. Warriors that have won their matches get first pick, leaving the dirty towels and shampoo that smells like ass for the losers to sift through. Those sneaky ghost hands are having a field day, snapping rat tails at unsuspecting bathers and locking naked warriors together in the supply closet. Guests lacking vigilance may find their bottoms unexpectedly pinched.

INDULGENCE
DESIRES FROM THE VOID

Things begin to move around the resort. The forgotten and the old exhale a dusty breath. Like the hunger that the Wildcards woke up with upon arrival, as its heart begins to beat quicker, there is a tension in the air of those things hungering to feed. To join in, and indulge. To get what they want.
And they’re coming out.

Nara Tsukikio | OC | New!
Nara felt his consciousness come to him slowly. It almost felt like a hangover; like he was slowly coming to shore after a long swimming from a distance.
Slowly, Nara sat up in his too short tunic, showing his legs, his arms. Vines of gold clamped onto his limbs like shackles, and he couldn't see them. Not yet. He was squinting, dark eyes slowly taking in the surroundings. But looking at it all, blinking and taking in slow breaths of air, Nara had to wonder one thing.
“...Am I dead or just hungover?”
Auction: (NSFW possible)
“Yes, my name is Nara. Yes, I am a dragon shifter. No, you can't get on my dragon sized dick. That can't fit in any human and I will not try.”
His voice was bored, but his eyes were quietly furious. This was something of a nightmare for his people- something of a bedtime story. But more then anything he hated- oh he hated- that he would have to obey whoever bought him.
So he bared his teeth as the auction started off. And he felt as if he had to offer a warning to anyone interested, loud over the shouts.
“I bite. You fools.”
Narcissus (nsfw altered body stuff possible)
He'd been, foolishly, looking to see what the water was all about. It was just something in a pond- something that seemed off that he wanted to sniff carefully. Which was how Nara had been snatched up. Snatched up and Nara was scrabbling for the shore.
“Damnit!” Claws formed on his hands, and black scales went up his arms, down his legs. Nara cursed up a storm as he strained and tried to pull himself free. The more he struggled, the more dragon like- with horns and a functioning tail- would form in his effort to get free. He'd even form wings if that's what got him out of this.
Wildcard
Have Nara in other prompts or locations! He's a dragon shifter OC and yes he is a grumpy boy. Also hey I'm Nammah. Hoping to see how well he'll click here before asking for an invite! And yes. Yes you can have a human sized dragon dick.
no subject
His interest is piqued at the mention of a dragon shifter, more so a d-sized dick. Not that he has ever experienced one before. A dildo, yes, but that doesn't compare to the real deal. Then again, he isn't human, so the stipulation doesn't apply to him.
But the dragon shifter bites? Reign tries not to let his imagination run wild, and instead focuses on at least plucking the poor shifter out of this obviously uncomfortable place. So when the bidding war begins, there are already a few interested party, all eager to get their hands on a grumpy dragon shifter. Reign waits for the appropriate timing, then adds his own bid at the last second, nearly double the amount of the previous number.
And done! Once everything is finalised, Reign is quick to approach the dragon shifter and lead him offstage, all smiles at his new purchase. Though the moment they're out of sight, his smile turn softer as his attention pivots towards the Wildcard. ]
Some people like being bitten, you know, so your threat wouldn't work. [ This close, Nara may notice that this Servant guest who just saved him isn't quite human. There's a delectable calming scent surrounding the brunet, as does the slit pupils of his blue eyes. ] Ah, my name is Reign. Now, let's get you out of here first.
no subject
It was a high number. He supposed it was a bit of a compliment that he went for something better then pennies.
Nara follows, silent, clearly resentful but obedient. It's only away from the others- those that had been leering and clearly enjoying looking him over- that he relaxes, and takes Reign in.
It part, it was the scent that helped with it all. He wanted to keep smelling it- like it was a candle lit in the room. Something new, that he could not quite place.]
Well...I did mean that it would be bitten off. Eventually.
[Which is also a kink he has no idea others might like. Finally, he brushes his hand through his hair with a shaky sigh.]
Nara- but you heard that. Where are we going?
[Now that he was away from the stage, he was tired, and a little shaky from the anxiety. Maybe he could just have a chance to shower- or find pants.]
no subject
Regardless, at least they're now further away from prying eyes and curious ears, and the security no longer gives them a second look seeing that Nara has been auctioned off. Reign just need to make sure that no other bidder attempt to kidnap the man away. He has seen it happen before. Scuffles and all-out brawl, fighting over a guest they'd their eyes on.
For now, there's a tilt of his head as he rewinds Nara's implication of what would be bitten off. And then his eyes widen, before he leans in and whispers. ] All right, so others might have a thing for that, and though I don't mind a little pain myself, I rather have my dick intact. [ Is he revealing more about his own kinks than necessary? Anyway...
He clears his throat, stepping out of the casino and looking around, having noticed the weariness in Nara's eyes, the way he seems to fidget nervously. ] Well then, Nara, we can head back to your suite to rest, find clothes for you — unless you don't mind what you're wearing now — or grab something for you to eat. Have you eaten?
no subject
And clearly no idea that he was such a prize- or that someone could try to snatch him up in the first place. Bad attitude or not? The shifter was in way over his head.
Still, he leaned in to murmur his reply.]
You've behaved. I won't bite yours off.
[He's behaved? Nara, you're the one who's been bought, not him.
But it could be blamed on the lack of food. He shook his head, straightening up. Still trying to project some strength.]
Not since I arrived. It just didn't appeal.
[Aka he was too nervous and resentful to eat.]
But I'd rather get dressed. I feel like a sex toy in this thing.
no subject
But hearing that Nara has yet to eaten has Reign worried. ] Not even at the feast? Or does it not meet your diet...? [ He's careful with the way he worded it, wondering if Nara perhaps require a different kind of sustenance for his meal. After all, Reign himself can't eat normal "human" food. ]
Clothes it is, then. I know a few stores with attires that would look good on you. [ Not that Reign has any idea what kind of fashion Nara tends to wear. He just hopes his choices aren't too far-fetched. Regardless, he waves for Nara to follow him, keeping stride as he occasional introduce some of the locations of the resort. Fortunately, it doesn't take long before they arrive at the Nest where the main shopping district is situated. ]
Let's see, what do you think of jackets or waistcoats? Something like what I'm wearing? [ He asks as he waves a hand at himself, his attire one of a style reminiscent of Victorian fashion, sporting a cream coloured dress shirt, a light brown waistcoat and matching trousers, with an red ascot tie around his neck. ] Or do you prefer something more contemporary? Modern?
no subject
At the question, Nara shook his head.]
I didn't want the food at the feast.
[No special diet, even for his kind. He was just being fussy.
But he follows, not realizing the compulsion in place as he does. He merely thinks it's a good idea to follow his rescuer.]
The modern suit is more what I'm used to. But I'll take anything that's not overly sexual.
no subject
At the negative response, Reign nods in understanding. ] All right. We can always grab a bite after getting you clothes.
[ Hunger makes people cranky. And cranky people are easily manipulated by the resort for its own entertainment. Reign rather have Nara at least enjoy his time here, regardless of whether the man ends up registered as a guest here. ]
Got it! Give me a moment. [ Reign leaves Nara standing amongst the rows of suits, some intricate, others more simplistic, yet still stylish. Soon enough, he returns with two selections. ] Here... which do you want to try?
no subject
Of course.
[Reign might have to coax him, because he's a stubborn cranky boy. The clothing at least, he's open to.
He stands among the suits, peering at them, leaning in to smell one, touch another. When Reign comes back, he has to jerk his head away from one of the suits.
Just smelling as a way to ground himself, see if there is anything familiar. Something that would make Reign's scent to make sense to him.]
The first, I think. If there's no changing rooms, that's fine.
I'll just get changed quickly.

Narcissus
Cutting across one of the Grecian centers to get to the guest wing, Bakugo pulls to a stop at the cacophony. What the hell? Flapping, scraping, splashing, screeching, sounds like a fucking monster's stuck in a trap. He pivots on his leg and abandons the previous path, moving to the railing to look down at the small pond centered in the crossway. Holy shit! For a second, he's torn between what he sees, one part obviously human, the other part rapidly melting into scales and claws.
It reminds him instantly of Ryukyu when she transforms into her dragon form. Except this guy doesn't look like he's able to do it in one go. Without a word, he vaults over the railing, dropping from the upper floor straight towards the pool. Heat and light charge in one hand, eyes narrowed as he judges the depth of the pool, the distance that tail reaches, and the area around them. No injury or collateral damage asides from getting a lot of shit really wet-
KA-BOOM!!
Like a depth charge going off in the water, Bakugo slams his hand into the pool's surface and detonates the explosion simultaneously. Liquid rushes outward in a wave, blowing the black-scaled half-dragon over the rim of the pool, along with half the water in the body of water. What a soaking mess. Luckily, this is Grecian theme! Most of the decor around here is stone and the water will run off into drains around the room. Not that he gives a shit if this place is gonna get wet.
They shouldn't have watery death traps!
Bakugo already rebounds from the recoil of his explosion, flipping backwards and landing on his feet near the dragon, but out of claw reach.] What the hell? Can't you swim?
no subject
He'd been struggling, seeing that someone, finally was coming to the rescue- not that he expected to be rescued in such a dramatic way.
Up Nara went, going butt over head, his back, tail- wings, the most painful part-slamming down onto the lovely Grecian stone floor. He'll heal quick, but wow that hurt.
Now freed, he flipped back over, ignoring the fact that he was in robes that left nothing to the imagination. They were pretty wrecked in the back anyway.]
Fuck yes I know how to swim.
[Onto his hands and knees, his tail thrashed, clearly irritated. But he's not about to attack the person who just did some sort of explosion. Won't stop him from swearing at him though.]
No one told me the water here tries to drown people.
no subject
So maybe he could've been less explosive, especially after hearing the dragon land on his wings with a painful layered thud. Ewugh. Does it hurt worse to spread them out before landing or tuck them close together? Mental note: don't ask Ryukyu that.
Bakugo gives the guy a once over, ignoring the state of his frayed robes. He himself is in little more than a pair of distressed black jeans and an open button down shirt that's practically see-through due to the sweat from his previous activity.]
Then what the hell were you doing in the water? [Looked to him like the dragon was trying to climb out after falling in! OR something pathetic like that. Bakugo jerks his thumb over his shoulder towards the half-empty pool.] Haa?! Drown you?
[Sadly, that eerily tracks...]
no subject
[His gaze is sour as he made to pull up to his full height. No strange legs, no clawed toes, so he's still at his usual, five ten of height. Well, unless one counted the horns.
His wings flapped once, irritated, and he looked Bakugo over. He never thought that he would be jealous of black jeans. Distressed black jeans, no less.
He might have intentionally tried to sprinkle the blond with water. Who's above petty? Not Nara.]
I got pulled in, genius. The water was acting weird, I tried to smell if it was magic, and it snatched me.
[His tail thumped again, annoyed, and he flapped his wings again, and spread them. He was really trying to dry them off a bit, not get Bakugo wet.
Mostly.]
no subject
Try a half-drown lizard.
[A winged lizard. Bakugo watches the guy stand up, noticing the draconic extras have retracted back to the normal human guise. Minus the horns and wings and tail. Is this guy a human who can turn into a dragon or a dragon disguised as a human?
These jeans are shit. They're tight, compared to the usual baggy jeans he prefers, and the tears and rips in them are stupid. Eve the hems bite into his pelvis. He's starting to envy the boardshorts he got a month ago at the beach.
Red eyes narrow when those flapping wings end up getting water all over him. One, he's already a sweaty mess from the arena. Two, he just blew half the pond into the air. This isn't making him any wetter... But his hand sparks again, threatening.]
The water? [Bakugo looks at the pool. Statues were attacking people. Is it a strange idea the water would too?] Move. [With that, he heads forward, stalking past the guy and indicating he should follow him. If the water pulled him in, then they should obviously get the hell away from it.] You can dry off somewhere else.
no subject
Don't. Call me that.
[He really did not being called a lizard! Even if he was letting his scales turn back to skin, his horns retract, he is of half the mind to give Bakugo a head butt or something similar- despite how he saved him.
But he's settling for being petty and cooling off with a few droplets. The sparks are just sparks.
Despite the snapping, he follows Bakugo away from the water, letting his body become more and more human as he walks.]
Where to? Your place?
[Annoyance is shifting over to curiosity.]
Because I have no idea where anything is in this weird hotel.
no subject
Shut it. Don't tell me what to do.
[He'll call him whatever he fucking wants. Dragon, lizard, gila monster, legged snake. Bakugo either doesn't believe the guy will go for petty revenge, or he's ready for an attempt as he walk ahead of him.
The water sprinkling from earlier was already an attempt. Even if it makes him wonder whether that'll come back to bite him in the ass later. That was apparently "tried to drown me" water this guy just tossed all over him! Sprinkled...
Best they leave the body of water behind before something else tries to grab them. He'd rather deal with the statues.]
You think I wanna get water all over my room?! I'm going to the showers.
[He assumes this guy is new here...]
no subject
Call me that again, and I'll bite your ass off.
[He might. Or he might not. Maybe all the swearing and growling is just all bark.
At least the wings were going away, and the tail too. Man or dragon, he just looks wet and grumpy, like anyone else would be after an unexpected soaking.
And, well, he hasn't even heard of what the statues are doing. Fun!]
Showers? Just like...gym room showers, or weird showers?
[Because this place was so weird. And he was starting do suspect those showers might have...gross wall hangings.]

Narcissus
Anyone within earshot would be able to tell the disturbance in this particular pond isn't merely a bout of playful frolicking. The tight embrace encircling Nara's upper half might as well be a steel trap for how it holds fast no matter his valiant struggle. There's no indication of it being any less deadly either, with how the arms around him continuously try dragging Nara down into a watery grave.
J hardly seems bothered. Either by Nara's predicament or the very real possibility of watching someone meet a grisly end. ]
Wish I could offer a helping hand. But you see, if I approach— [ The water shimmers as J's reflection begins to take shape. It winks in and then out of existence as he slips away from where his steps had taken him nearly to the shoreline. ]
You would have more than your own reflection to contend with. [ In actuality, the problem would likely be J's. The recent water-based replicas tend to target their original selves and he's not eager to join Nara in taking a scenic trip to the bottom of those murky depths, getting lungfuls of algae and pond water. ]
Then again, there are other ways I might be of assistance. [ J offers the suggestion with a thoughtful tilt of his head, as though the idea had simply come to him on a whim. Hopefully Nara still has enough wits about him and air in his lungs to strike up a deal with a demon. ]
no subject
And here was this...man...was having far too much fun about it. Sure, there was the risk from the other reflection- but at this rate, it was worth it, least to him. Misery loves company and all that.
But...also...a deal. This was nasty, and would likely bite him later. He felt himself duck under briefly, and he ended up struggling up, spitting up water.]
If you get me out-
[He hissed. Wings flexed as he tried to regain ground.]
I don't care how. What do you want?
no subject
Just a favor. [ The word hangs in the air for a moment before J continues. ] One teensy little request that you'll fulfill for me.
Some other time, of course. I don't expect your end of the bargain to be satisfied immediately after getting yourself into, well. [ J sweeps a hand out to gesture vaguely to the life-or-death struggle taking place just a short distance away, the expression that settles over striking features is apathetic beneath the gossamer veneer of a paper-thin smile. ]
This little predicament.
no subject
His body was starting to shake. But he was also becoming less human. Larger, to try and escape. More dragon, less human, to give his back legs anchors.
But he knew he was seconds away from being the latest corpse of the lake. He slipped, cursed, and scrambled to dig talons into the soil.]
Damnit. Fine. Deal.
Now get me out!
[He has a feeling this will be more of a rescue when he's half drowned but that doesn't stop him from snapping the demand.]
no subject
These things are much easier when the other party is the obliging type. [ In other words, someone desperate enough not to demand any stipulations or limitations that might protect their interests. Which is ideal for him, when J prefers to take some liberties with how his contracts ultimately pan out in the end. Just ask the demon's ward about how J had twisted their arrangement around to suit the demon's self-interests. ]
[ By this time, a half dozen scattered sparks have condensed into a single palm-sized flame. Flickering with the breeze that wafts off a cooling pond, it hovers above the pinch of fingers that have coaxed it into being. ]
Now that all of that's been nicely squared away, you might want to duck. [ The suggestion rolls off his tongue like a passing thought, absent the gravitas of a dire warning or weighty reprimand that should proceed in the manner of assistance befitting a rescue. Help comes with a cursory glance at the pond's occupants and a quick flick of his wrist towards the watery altercation. With this and a snap of his fingers, J releases the rapidly growing fireball from whatever magical tethers keeping it within his clutches. As it hurls at the struggling pair, that roiling mass of flames seems aimed directly for the head of the watery specter wearing Nara's face. ]
no subject
He'd taken the collar and latched it onto his own neck.
Such was the way with demons and contracts.
But Nara still dropped his body, hugging the ground with all the strength that he could muster. And the fireball got a soild hit into the watery reflection of the dragon. There was a scream, and it dissolved into a scalding puff of steam-or so Nara assumed.
As soon as he felt the grip let go, he skittered away from the water, chest heaving and eyes wide. He was all over scales, horned and long-tailed, talons digging into the soft ground.
Who knew. He might have looked more demon than dragon currently.]
no subject
In stories old and new, a valiant rescue set against the backdrop of a dire situation typically turns into a hasty retreat. But their encounter so far has hardly been a fairy tale, despite the fact Nara has played the part of both dragon and the damsel-in-distress. Meanwhile, J is anything but a knight, armored or otherwise. His lack of chivalry is more than apparent as he pads over towards the fearsome-looking creature that's more wings and scales than soft skin without offering a word of consolation. ]
Shall we go before your drippy double reappears? Should he decide to come ashore and join us, I doubt the kind of threesome he'd be gunning for would have a happy ending. [ The Archduke isn't the patient sort under normal circumstances. Now that he's taken Nara under his proverbial wing, the shifter's problems have become his own, making him eager for a change of scenery. He may be impervious to harm and unfazed by the threat of death, but sometimes there are more ghastly things to fear than maiming and murder. Like slimy aquatic weeds tangled up in his freshly washed hair, should he wind up at the bottom of the lake.
Pale wings spread wide to catch a breeze that ripples the lake's surface, momentarily absent Nara's unnatural twin. Demons don't depend on the weather to manipulate elements that bend to their will. As his companion witnessed earlier, the Archduke can summon up a flame with merely a snap of his fingers. The same is true for the wind, building beneath a sudden beat of wings that begins to lift the pads of his leonine paws off the sandy shoreline. ]
There's a quaint little pavilion a short distance over behind the grove there. [ A graceful nod of his head signals the direction he plans on heading. One might think J has entirely dismissed the notion that his company could have opinions on their travel plans, but he does manage to cast a glance back at the other man with an impish curl of his lips to offer him an ounce of acknowledgment and a hefty bit of ribbing. ] Can you make it on your own, or will you need to be carried over?

Hopefully Nara will take this lesson to heart.
But flapping his own wings, he grimaced. They were sopping wet. If there was wind acting like it was a blow dryer, maybe it would be possible. Still, with the possible threat of the watery grabber, they wouldn't have time.
Nara sighed, and moved to tuck his wings back in. Where, hard to say. It was magic. ]
If you want to fly over together, then I will have to carried over.
[His tail lashed. It annoyed him.]
But I can walk. Even run. I'm not in a threesome mood either.
