[ she’s absolutely correct- akechi would hate to be controlled by anything. would hate to think something like this had been pushed upon him.
would, perhaps, even appreciated her attempts to stop it.
but not like this. like this he’s all low growls and a ready poise, staring her down with those bright red eyes.
he doesn’t seem completely cognizant enough to recognize her bravery-
but he doesn’t seem recognize it as a threat.
he growls again, a warning. ]
