Well, disinfecting alcohol, bandages, and needle and thread would be a must. A scalpel would also probably be helpful. Various herbs for pain relief that can be taken by mouth and any that can be turned into poultices to help fight infection.

Personally, I also always carry something to help induce vomiting. Just in case.
