It’s okay! <3

[ If Basch’s blush gets any deeper, he’s going to be doing a very fine impression of a tomato.

Sylvain spares the pair of girls an annoyed look for their laughter - mainly aimed at the one looking so amused at their plight - but otherwise doesn’t let his composure falter in the least. He thanks the one who had given them a genuine answer - one he’d suspected already but hadn’t been ready to bring up in case there were other possible options. But seeing how this was what they had to work with… ]

Come with me.

[ There’s a slight tug on the leash again - if they have to convince an inanimate object they’re playing along and satisfying it’s purpose, apparently, might as well play this convincingly as possible.

Being familiar with portions of this store by now, after his own afternoon of shopping, he leads the way back to the privacy of the dressing rooms, which seem mostly empty now that the hour is getting later, although there’s a few people around who still seem to be scrambling to put together their masquerade outfits.

Escorting Basch into one of the empty dressing rooms at the far end, he kicks the door closed behind him before crowding him back against the door and pinning him there with his own weight. The leash is pulled taut, making the collar snug about his throat, even as intent amber eyes lock on to Basch’s face. Holding his gaze. ]

I need your honest answer. Do you want me to get this off of you, or would you prefer to carry out the ruse for the rest of the evening? I’ve no intention of making you feel shamed all night - unless that’s something you crave, I can work with that, too. But I need you to tell me what you’re comfortable with here. I’m not someone who enjoys making people uncomfortable or even frightened, unless that’s what they come to me looking for.

[ He’s had a lot of people come to him for a lot of different things, over the years. His reputation had drawn a lot of curious folk wanting to try something new. Or maybe just reckless and daring. He didn’t mind, most of the time. But Basch hadn’t volunteered for this, so this required a different approach. ]
