A-ah, hey, w-wait a second!

[He bent and the ropes went slowly taut, and she wasn't sure if that was better or worse than the sudden tugging that had happened when she'd first been snared. Either way it meant the ropes went tight for a second, her hand gripping his shoulder as a shiver went through her and she bit her lip as he took her down with him.

Being sprawled across him did not help at all.

Or rather it did, sort of, but Aerith had to bow her head and mutter a quiet prayer to get her breathing back under control. There was no helping the flush on her face and ears. It was still darkening across her freckled cheeks when he brushed her hair out of her face, and she managed to meet his gaze even if what she really wanted to do was bury her face in his chest to hide until she recovered her composure.

I was going to say at least I still have a hand free and—ah?

[Her ankles suddenly bound themselves to her thighs and on any other day she might have been smug about this. Would have been delighted. But instead she's straddling a very devastatingly handsome man and trying not to think about the moan that had just torn out of her throat when her legs had been tugged apart and she'd landed heavily in his lap.

So she holds up a hand in a silent request for a moment to gather herself, not at all trusting her voice and hating the way the limb trembled.
]

I-it's fine.

[She has to clear her throat when her voice came out ragged and breathless.]

It's fine. Not your fault.

[If anything else moves she's not sure if she'll be able to bite her lip hard enough to keep herself quiet.]
