”I see. Yes I imagine that did not help. And must have been very boring. Not an ideal way to spend your younger years at all.” It isn’t something Loki experienced himself, but he can sympathize. In his own way he was trapped, that has always seemed the role of royalty in his mind, but he had always been free to explore and learn. He can’t imagine how he might have rebelled if he had found himself in her situation. “I think you will find there are people here with all sorts of experience, or lack there of. There are far too many “guests” here for that not to be true.”

Loki gives her a bit of a thoughtful look. “Well, I dare say you have already started. You are speaking with me, after all. It might not be enough to collect my card, but it is a start at least.” He grins at her, teasing a bit again. It’s like he can’t help it. He’s already acknowledged, at least to himself, that he seems to have a thing for pirates from Shanks’ world, so why not her as well? But no matter what happens between them, he is enjoying this conversation and will happily help her however she wishes.

”It is not something you have to decide now, of course, but take it from someone who did not try to mend fences and now regrets it. It might at least be worth a try, even if it does not work out in the end.”

The wink makes Loki grin widely, happy to see her participate in this little flirt session. Maybe Shanks wouldn’t mind if he helped her gain a little experience? Is that something he should ask? Feels a bit awkward and honestly, Loki has never been in a situation like this before. He doesn’t (or at least thinks he doesn’t) let any of this internal conflict show on his face. “Oh darling, you couldn’t be more right. I am convinced you could complete the game in no time at all.”
