Demons are most useful test subjects, and the crusade has given me a never ending horde, even if I must spend truly tedious amounts of time killing them it’s never wasted. I’ve made more progress in the past half decade with necromancy than I had in the last two decades combined.
I’ve not found my abilities stifled, though I lack the resources to pursue most experiments the majority of my spell formulas still derive into the correct proofs. Gravity is fractionally different though, which necessitated a few minor corrections. In truth the house has been a pleasant diversion from war, One I do not mind indulging. The work will still be there when I inevitably leave.
