“Nah, I think you're right.” His gut gives a twist of guilt– absurd as that is– at admitting that. It's easy to debate whether it's better for your friends to be safe and at home, but he's not the one that's here alone. “Are you– have you run into anyone you know? From wherever you're from?”

He thinks he knows the answer to that question, but it's always worth asking. Having people to help ground him– to be a real home, even while they're trapped here, a world away from the Going Merry and freedom and their dreams– has been a boon, and as selfish as being grateful for that feels, Sanji can't deny how helpful it's been. Things are always better with friends around… even if it means imprisoned here together.

“An island, huh? Shit, that's nostalgic. What I wouldn't give to feel the real sea.” The only approximations here are fake, of course, and while they usually serve well-enough, he misses the sound of waves and the feeling of floor gently swaying underfoot. It only takes him another heartbeat to register the part where she mentions being alone. He glances at her out of the side of his eye, suddenly concerned about a lack of nutrition, a few memories vibrating away in the back of his head. “Shit– were you shipwrecked there? If you were alone, had to be hard to find things to eat, yeah? I'm a cook, so if you need something–”

Well, she looks fine, so it's unlikely she's starving, but his sense of rightness won't let him ignore that she might need food.

“As for the flower– I pass through a town this way not long ago. Someone should know about it there, I think.”

By which he means that there should be a member of the crew there that he can potentially threaten if they play cagey, but he hopes it doesn't come to that.
