[ The moment of recognition on his face tugs oddly at her heart. There are others from home here but it has been about a year since she last saw one of her own former classmates, one of her Eagles. Linhardt was only present a moon or two, such as they are in this place that only projects an illusion of the outdoors; she lost Hubert before Linhardt arrived but there hasn't been a day that she has not missed him and next month, in the rough equivalent of Garland Moon, she intends to weave a white rose garland for his statue.

Ferdinand's presence is somehow both heartening -- something she can surely not say to him -- and dismaying. His fresh presence also serves as a sharp reminder of just how long it's been since her arrival, unthinkable and frustrating, but more importantly she doesn't want him to be trapped here as well, regardless of when or where he may have come from.

She will simply have to appreciate that she knows Ferdinand, no matter how trying he can be, can be relied on here and now. And perhaps dimly wonder how and why this role and costume seems so well-suited to him. Her assessment of him as he approaches isn't entirely acting. Has she ever been so aware of the beautiful copper sheen his hair takes on in the light?

Has she ever thought he sounded flirtatious before? Definitely not. ]

I am Eleanor of Arlandia. I admit I am unaccustomed to working with others, Prince Farian, but if our goals so align then perhaps we can be of use to each other.

[ The script leaves quite a bit to be desired, sex its centerpiece, and they are of course meant to become intimate. She will need to find a moment to convey to Ferdinand that there is no need for him cross that line with her so soon after encountering her... or at all, which would certainly be easier for both of them. The sex can be simulated, she's certain. ]

My path leads me through the Fairy Forest. You must know it well.
