[ well, she's at least trying to be nice about it, so that he doesn't feel too bad about it since he's clearly feeling self-conscious about it. it's obviously not the worst thing she's ever seen anyone wear, and his face is plenty handsome on its own that she's not sure any actual absurd choice of attire would defer from that very fact. but she's also a little hesitant to go on telling him what she actually thinks about his face.

mostly, though, it's in her habit to try to make anyone feel better, about themselves, about their situation, and right now, instinct overrides with the impulse to help him with his predicament, regardless of her own thoughts on the matter. when he calls out exactly that, she feels a pang of guilt but a bit of surprised ease that he immediately considers her comfort of it. ]

That's ... actually pretty nice of you. [ maybe it's too far of a low bar, but considering her own experiences with hoards of men that have never bothered to even think twice of her feelings on anything they do, it's enough to actually gain some slight appreciation on her part.

and yet, in spite of that, tifa remains ever the people pleaser, knowing she could hardly leave this room while he's in a situation she can help fix. it's not like it's anything outright sexual, compared to most things in this resort, so what's the actual harm in just helping undress someone? it's not as if she'll have to do anything else, right?

so she takes a step forward, chin up with a bit more certainty in her voice. ] It's really okay, though. I'm already here and it's just some clothes. [ she purses her lips a little, fighting an amused smile. ] Plus, you ... really don't look too happy wearing them. [ which is silly in itself, but humorous enough. ] Between us, you might actually be the one most uncomfortable right now.
