[Sometimes people, humans in particular, can't help but hope to act on the urges to touch things they find cute, even if it's impolite or dangerous. Being a god, Yato has a bit more self-control and respect, at least most of the time.

As for matching... That's a special Yato Brand thing. He's seen Japanese couples wear similar or matching outfits and thought it was the cutest thing, so he's always longed to have someone to do that with.]
