(It didn't mean anything at all that the guy's vibes at a glance -- the placid look in his eyes, his lax posture, the asymmetrical flop of blue hair -- happened to remind him of a certain somebody ...)

It hadn't occurred to him that maybe his intervention wouldn't have been necessary, and when Minato seems to side with the director, all he can do at first is give an indignant sputter. ]
