[ not going to lie, being in this role is a little nerve-wracking -- mostly because she can't get a good look at her co-star from here unless she fully turns around on her feels. the fact that she'd worked mostly on public transport for more than a year before coming here is also making her feel awkward, even though her fellow coworkers would be too sexually repressed to even consider fooling around on the bus anyway.
she blinks at the hand above her, snapping her out of her lazy daydreaming. the male presence behind her feels familiar somehow, and when she squints at the faint reflection on the glass window she can figure out why. she was in close proximity with blade when they'd met the first time at the fight club in the basement levels, with blade even offering to obscure her from the crowd with his large frame so that she won't be picked to fight for the death in the ring. it's a small gesture, but she feels like she owes him somehow.
the fact that their current situation isn't too different from back then puts her at ease a little -- well, that and the hand on her hip that's bringing her back to the new reality she's found herself in. before she can get a word in, though, she's suddenly caught off-balance as the train jolts to a stop at some random station, stumbling backwards on her high heels that she's clearly not used to wearing.
she does manage to keep herself from falling completely by holding onto his hip as well, but she has to pretend that it's not intentional (or is it...?) with a barely audible whisper. ]
