[ Minato releases Kotone's hand as he feels her fingers slipping away. She's done, he thinks -- but she returns and leans in close to pull him into an embrace. He blinks as he's tugged forward and leans back against Kotone's body.
Though her hands had been cold, she seems to radiate a gentle warmth akin to rays of spring sunlight. She tucks her chin against his shoulder and he mimics that gesture, resting his own against her shoulder as though their bodies were slotting together as one.
How curious; it's as if he'd known Kotone for his entire life. ]
