There's no question about how to do this: sitting with his thighs spread on either side of Kabru's waist would be a bit much, but sitting with his back facing him would make it hard to converse, since he prefers to look at people's faces when they talk. So, he'll sit across his lap, legs kicked out to the side. He seats his butt firmly enough to hopefully keep Kabru from levitating right off the couch.
