(not that it's surprising that texas did brush off the joke, but it wasn't like she enjoyed the idea much of that being bound to happen. she's not a screamer, not even that loud. however, she did consider that this is new for herself personally. she doesn't quite know what to expect from bdsm, there was that interest in restraints that she had and other things. the issue is that....well, what issue is there? there's plenty to go around, whether it's them or her problems with allowing herself to be vulnerable like that.

but that's a thought for later while holding that ashtray and looking around for a free room. it's quieter there than the casino hall, it gives her a chance to think over hearing the way that the guests would loudly push about cheer. happiness as they saw it in something that makes texas feel her skin crawl, makes her want to raise her hackles as a means of protecting herself too often. stress isn't the half of it, not even that frustration in what she's been dealing with.)

Money is money, sadly. Though it's not even that, obviously I don't like the idea of giving up control. (not even to other people if one were to include them and lappland together, but.) I'm more curious since I haven't gone around all the resort. Not to the Naked Yolk, which has this kind of play around it, anyway.

(ugh. or maybe she should have considered visiting the ugly duckling on her own time if she's going to feel half like this is a mistake. it's a bit too late now, isn't it? she's come this far, no use in backing out now while making her way towards one of the rooms that seems empty and unused. hopefully she doesn't regret this.)
