Zoro thinks he’s being a lot nicer to Buggy now than their last few interactions. Granted, his whole experience here has been so unsettling that he’s somehow let himself be in this position instead of telling the clown to get lost the moment he saw him. He’ll look back later and wonder why, likely coming up with something along the lines of a familiar face — even an unfriendly one — is comforting during such strange times.

He can’t help the way his face contorts when he sees what Buggy rolls next. He takes a step forward, but says: “You don’t have to do it, you know. You can just skip.” Casually suggested, like it doesn’t mean he’ll be one step closer to winning over the other man.
