[ after about the fourth hour, angelika had decided that enough was enough. having had her fill of sweets and wine, she found very little else about the party to want to occupy her time with, but unfortunately she had had very little luck in actually making it past an exit. despite her otherwise imposing nature, the staff on the hotel didn't hesitate to use force if they had to in order to keep their guests partying as they're supposed to, and sadly someone of angelika's stature is just no match for hired help that might as well have been bouncers.

so, desperate times call for desperate measures. spotting archer make a decisive turn towards one of the guarded exits, angelika quickly cuts through the crowd to slide right up to his side, slipping her hand into the crook of his elbow. ]
