[He's aware that he's meant to bite. Rude is simply lingering and enjoying what he considers the intimacy of the moment, as one-sided as it may be. Working his way up to the actual act, and maybe looking for something else he doesn't know how to express.

But the next time Rude glances up he can see the discomfort in the man's eyes. There's something going on behind them that gives Rude pause enough to listen even as his fingers hook into the waist of Aventurine's underwear.]

[He opens his mouth to say more, but stops to listen instead, considering how Aventurine might feel in this situation. Maybe he's making him uncomfortable being this way. Maybe all of this is a matter of perception. He doesn't kiss his thighs again, or bite him, but offers another question instead.]

Hypothetically, is it bad for intimacy to be one-sided. If one person needs to perceive it that way but the other doesn't want to, I mean. Is it wrong?
