No bruises darkening on his skin, no hidden cuts now opening a line of crimson, not rashes from hitting and skidding on the ground (albeit he did take a hard impact at one point) leave any permanent marks. He's drenched in sweat, some dirt, and plenty of smoke, but the rest is fine. With the arrow heads not being dangerous, it made the game far less risky.
