Edwin does look a little put-out to be ignored entirely, but he doesn't raise a fuss about it. At the very least they're both going to get what they need and he can swallow his pride if that's the case.

The housekeeper nods, telling them that it'll be just a moment before disappearing down the hall a ways. Edwin is quiet during that time but not in brooding way. He even thanks the housekeeper when they bring back the two robes and also does not raise a fuss when Alan is handed his robe first.

Pulling his robe closed around him with an expression of relief, he gestures down the corridor again.

"This way."

And he's off, leading the way to the elevators.
