[He's lucky he didn't blow his damn feet off at this rate! THAT'S THE WRONG FUCKING THING TO LEARN RIGHT NOW, YOU GODDAM LEECH! Bakugo's not thinking much about that right now, too wrapped up in the fight to dodge the arrows and continue to be a pain in the ass for those high ranks who thought he'd be a good target to go after. Screw the rules saying he can't fight back!

Charlie wanted to hitch a ride so he can deal with the heat, smoke, and noise made by Bakugo's explosions. If he's going to hack up a damn lung, at least face to the side and spit it out onto the ground rather than on the back of his neck, dammit!

But all of that fighting comes to a crashing halt when the arrow lands it mark. Less the impact and more the shock that sends the blonde twisting and hitting the ground. Charlie's shirt's spared the rip from Bakugo's hand, but who knows how it holds up to the skidding drag across the arena floor. At least the hero's able to keep the other man's head from enduring any blunt trauma.

As the impact comes to a stop, Bakugo pushes himself up, snarling against the slight ache on his skin where the arrow hit. Just because it's a chalk head doesn't mean the shaft itself isn't solid wood. He glares at the wooden line dropping from his upper back, twisting onto one knee. Only to find Charlie melting off his back and spilling onto his side instead. ]

What the hell?! Get off me, you damn koala!! [He's wrapping him up again! Bakugo struggles to his feet, fully intending to drag Charlie off with him if he has to. He doesn't know what this chalk does, but he knows some others acted strange after getting hit by it. So fuck staying on the field to get struck with more!

As he said, they're both out.]
