[There may be some slight suspicion of the man before him, but it's a familiar sort of suspicion. They're from the same world, after the strong implication there are others who aren't, and the place they're in is new and strange... but Baptiste has been here longer.
Deference only made sense. There was no reason to be at his throat (yet), and the more he could learn about the place now the better.
...Or, in the case of the suggestion being made, the longer he could wait to brace himself before setting out to the rest of this odd space, the better.]
I can think of worse ways to start the evening.
[Is it even evening? He's up, so it must be.
We'll even let Baptiste's ego-stroking fall to the wayside without comment. A wonderful bath buddy... really. How odd was it that that was a point of pride?
The boldness is met with relative ease, though - Miraj takes that hand once again and does use it as a slight support in escaping the massive, overly plush bed, actually letting the blankets fall off his shoulders and remain bunched up where he'd been sitting as he does so. The gauzy toga hides nothing, but there's no space for shame when they're about to be sharing a bath, anyway.

Lead the way, oh esteemed bath buddy.]
