[His attention to Monika's pet comes to an abrupt end. Stampy's reluctant of going at first, but ultimately moves along with Monika after being ushered to enough. His face- not that Monika could see it anyway -remains the stoic as ever, as he watches her lead Stampy back to her pen.
Much as she tries to hide her voice behind a flat tone, it's not difficult for him to sense the hurt she's hiding. His eyes glance down, still unsure of how to take in this situation.
While he waits for Monika to return, he sits down on a non-broken sofa and takes stock of his current situation, how he seemingly returned to the resort, and... Apparently this now. He doesn't have much time to think things over when he hears her footsteps preceding the door clicking open.
His blank face turns to Monika, but when she sits, his body involuntarily twitches at the too close a contact. First instinct is too move away and give space, but... Much as he prefers to not be touched unless needed to, he forces himself to stay. Monika's hurt. She is a friend. The most he could do for her, even if he has no memories of them ever being close together, is to comfort her.
Then, his leg presses lightly against Monika's. It's subtle enough. Comforting words is never his strong suit and what could he ever say to her, really? At least physical comfort is something he knows.]
... Take your time.
[An empathetic side of him has taken over. And besides... It's not like he has anywhere he needed to be.]
