Basch has to collect his thoughts. Words aren't so easy for him, and he's aware people often hear something he didn't mean or run with some small detail. ]

I think...leaders and armies benefit from something to rally around, and simple, moving tales do that better than the truth. But I do not think they are entirely opposed either.

I would like to hear more of your experience knowing gods walk among you. That is not something I can relate to.
