(shots! shots! shots— )

[ While Hawks listens, Gladio takes in the sights, not all of them anything he's particularly keen on seeing. As expected, there is a certain amount of caution to be had in taste testing any of the signature drinks on off, with arguments seemingly bursting from nowhere alongside the lamentations of homesickness. And he's pretty sure that one guy just turned into—

His thoughts are interrupted by Hawks' answer, pulling his gaze down from the crowd to meet a thoughtful pair of golden eyes, tinted by those gaudy, overlarge sunglasses. ]

I'll just get one of each, then. Couple beers, too.

[ Whether those are to share or just for him remains to be seen and neither would be a bother. Truly he is just trying to wriggle out of to many sweet things, near constantly at capacity for them of late, thanks to Satoru. His size makes acquisition easy, just a quick wade through the shallows and the crowd, a tap of his Watch before his hands are full. It's the wading back out that proves cumbersome, though trusts Hawks to carve them a path back out to the sand easily enough.

Truly, though, the most troublesome of all proves to be finding a relatively quiet place to settle in, with the sand littered with seemingly abandoned towels—and occupied ones. One particularly carnal coupling earns an almost judgemental tilt of Gladio's head in the opposite direction, though it is honestly more the flush of shame that makes him not want to look. Not of what they are doing, but the recent memory of being in not so dissimilar position himself. And with Hawks, to boot. ]

Looks like we might have more luck up that way. You mind carrying one of these? [ He gestures with the beer bottles, nestled between his fingers for ease while the same hand cups the sunset colored mango whatever-it-was. The blackberry is offered to Hawks for safekeeping—or preemptive testing, if he's interested. ]
