[ When Edelgard agrees with her, she can’t help the wave of disbelief that she feels. While it’s mostly directed at that fact, it also has to do with an odd certainty that Edelgard means what she says.

That they agree on anything is hard to wrap her mind around considering their previous circumstances before arriving here. Then again, that they’re agreeing on something so ridiculous is somewhat fitting. There’s a brief pause where she regards her, not having missed the slight crease between the woman’s brows before slipping her sunglasses onto her face again. She’d give them to her later. ]

She’s quick to gather the items she’d collected thus far into the little bag that she had managed to pilfer from one of the lifeguards. It’s a tote bag with an absolutely ridiculous design on it (three lifeguard seagulls are printed on it, flexing in various forms with jaunty text underneath it reading: ‘Suns out, guns out!’) and while it's hardly the fashion item of the year - but it was growing on her. ]

We can keep an eye out for any sandals that have been left out. Some people just seem to run off to swim or disappear to some other part of the beach and not come back for them.
