Nothing to misunderstand about calling someone up for company only to be a dick and rub in how much better you are than them into their face. Especially when that person has done nothing to deserve it, quite frankly.

[It's that needless aggressiveness he doesn't like. The hot and cold desire for company, only to actively scorn said company when he's with them, to purposefully push buttons.]
