[ It's jarring enough just having 'Haruka' suddenly step ahead of him. Like, yeah, the guy's changed a bit after their first round of verdicts, but was he this decisive? What really stymies him, though, is the touch of fingers under his chin, nudging his gaze over.

It's so startling that Fuuta can only gape wide-eyed for a moment, lips parted in clear shock, before he finally jerks his head back away from Aak's hand. ]

What th -- I dunno where the hell you learned that, but don't go doing that to just anyone, alright. People're gonna think you're, like ... picking a fight with'em.

[ There's a touch of flustered heat to his cheeks, but frankly, he's more weirded out than he is at all aroused. Something definitely feels off by this point, and Fuuta squints at 'Haruka' for a moment before raising his free hand to rub at his eye, the pad of his thumb pressed into his temple. Why does it feel like he's missing something ... ]

And, look. [ He heaves a sigh before looking at Aak once more. (Huh. Weird. Haruka was a fair bit taller than him. Why is it he doesn't need to look up to meet his gaze?) Even as confusion continues to mar his expression, Fuuta speaks as firmly as he can. ] I'll ... help, if you need it. But you know that's not something you should just be talking about so casually, right. Even if this place is like this. Think it over carefully before you just say that kind of thing.

[ God, he can already imagine someone like Rin laughing at him for saying something like that here, in this ludicrous place. But, like. He knows he's not wrong. And could he be blamed for wanting to maintain some level of integrity? Especially when he's talking to people he feels like he needs to protect, still. ]
