[ While others seem to be all but withering under the heat of the "sun," Gladio's thriving. He's more than willing to ignore the way the sky still repeats like a screensaver, and the way he's gone almost a whole day without so much as a hint of sunscreen without feeling any kind of burn, for the sheer enjoyment of something that almost (almost) truly feels like being outdoors again. He's not exactly a beach person most of the time, but the smell of the sea and the hiss of the dune brush at the merger of beach and gardens brings him back to a simpler time. A sadder time, if he lets himself dwell...
Which is why he's actually sort of grateful for the stupid scavenger hunt. It keeps his body and his mind busy with goals, a purpose, and an excuse to chat up anyone he sees with an easy, surely non-creepy ice breaker. Sunglasses and sandals are easy enough to ask for from just about anyone, though getting a pair has proven a bit more difficult than anticipated. Probably because everyone else is looking for them too. Still, as the day wanes and the sun sinks below the uncanny horizon, pinks and oranges streaking through the encroaching deep blue, he's very nearly completed the list.
Who better, then, to chase down towards one of the bungalows than an old friend? The kid owes him nothing at all really, but Gladio can't help wondering if the request might be an easy sell. Even if he's dressed somewhat more modestly than Yusuke at the moment. ]
Fox! Fox! Don't go in yet. I got a favor to ask you.
