( there are so many ways that he could hurt him. it's strange, feeling like a world of possibility has opened, rather than that his path has been snubbed out--he doesn't have to kill endeavor in this place, and quite honestly, he shouldn't; he knows what happens, in theory, and it won't matter, won't do anything but further enrage him to see endeavor return back again. besides, shouto isn't here, and that's a part of the plan that he thinks can't be edited or changed: he doesn't want to do this without shouto's life on the line, either. figures that this place would make things more difficult for him, rather than less.

but there are other ways. other things he can do, to get under endeavor's skin. other ways to hurt him, make him uncomfortable, make him look at him even when he doesn't want to.

is it cruel? he doesn't know, doesn't care. does it matter if he's cruel? who taught him how to be anything but? it's not like he'd had someone there to guide him to a path of kindness; no one had been there at all. )
