Her eyes are the first to break away, her hands coming together to fidget while she gazes out at the rolling waves. It gives her some time to build up her courage. Courage, and some irrational feelings. She wasn't the only one that messed up here. He played with her emotions! Pushing him away was solely for his benefit!
Suddenly, she's making her way over, lips pursed. As she drops down next to him in the sand, she remains silent, again focusing on the waves. What to say, what to say...? It's tempting to start off with hostility, but that's not going to do anything to help an already bad situation. Something more neutral, then. ]
