[ Unfortunately for Hilda, there had been no such warning about potentially laced food, only about three hours of being here under her belt, and no one to explain to her that this place isn't just any old resort. Really, if they're going to strap a weird device to her wrist, it could have at least explained that as part of its welcome package. Maybe then the whole sex element wouldn't be that much of a shock, but alas. Which means as far as she's aware, this is just some really great barbeque on a really nice beach.

And you know what makes a barbeque on a really nice beach even better? Someone really cute doing all the grilling. Somewhere faintly in the back of her mind she's aware that this is all some sort of distraction from other more pressing matters. Matters like how the last thing she can recall before waking up here is a bright blue sky not so dissimilar to this one, the way her breath came in wheezy, wet little gasps, and how, despite the bright sunshine overhead and the gulls in the distance, she had been so cold.

Yes, it's far better to distract herself from matters of morality by focusing on how the dusting of colour on his cheek somehow made the little smear of sauce on his face even more endearing. This is far more pleasant of a distraction than the bird lifeguards that had chased her across the beach earlier or what's to possibly come once the sun sets and the next day begins.

Her smile turns a little less apologetic as she laughs slightly. ]

Don't say thank you so soon. You missed a spot. [ Getting up off her lounge chair, she motions for him to bend down a little so she can rise up on her toes to wipe the offending sauce off. She mimics is earlier motion, sucking the sauce off her finger with a satisfied hum. ] There. Sauce-free but no less handsome.

( ooc: maybe some spice to do the barbeque justice? )
