He will take a couple of the fruit ones, though. Though he's intrigued by the lab-grown fruits despite his better judgement, he knows Jun will be most excited by the ones with strawberries. Now all he has to do is text him and tell him to come down from the gym or wherever. But first, he'll find some shade!
As all these people with skewers walk past, his thoughts idly drift to that one tea circle meeting. The one where they pranked Tsukasa by grilling meats and saying that was what they did at tea club all the time. The look on Tsukasa's face when he "revealed" that Eichi loved eating barbecue with his bare hands had been rather funny!
... he doesn't know when he'll see them again. Eichi or Tsukasa or any of them. He has his hands full worrying about himself and Jun, but he does sometimes wonder how everyone else from ES is doing. How SS went, whether everyone's still dealing with the fallout from their disappearance, whether Eichi-kun is even still alive or if he's finally croake—]

[Every part of him wants to deny what's happening. To say that this is someone who just happens to look like his old friend, former unitmate, and forever irritant. But then the eerie deadringer rasps out a single word, and that all-too-familiar voice makes his stomach drop and his hairs stand on end.
