Peter nods solemnly. And that probably goes a long way to explaining his sour mood when Loki initially sat down. All of Peter's family is gone. His friends are more-or-less gone. Though he did get to spend some time with Tony and the other Avengers when he was in Duplicity, it wasn't the same. But he wouldn't trade the memories of any of that time for anything (though, if he ever actually goes home again, he won't remember any of it).

Mostly, he'd just really like to have a few things not go sideways for a little while. Just a little bit.

Peter's mouth twitches in a tiny smile. "He could be. But he was really great. I really miss him." He takes a deep breath and blows it out slowly. "I also really need to get out of this pool and take a long nap. I feel like absolute shit. You can come if you want." Besides, the farther away from the bar he gets, the less likely he is to drink more of those drinks that make him see weird shit.
