[Oh, the rubbing and kissing. It only makes his blush worse, but the affection gestures do a fine job of making him stop from getting the last poke. He won't fuss over her so much when she's being all affections and soft, but he does help hold Monika's hands while she climbs down him.

Taking the notebook and pen off her hands, Soundwave gives her a silent nod as she walks away, before looking down at the notebook in his hand. Hm, these items on his hand certainly looks small. Hopefully, he won't have too much trouble jotting down the words in his head. So, very carefully as to not tear the fragile paper, he flips through the notebook until he finds an empty page. A part of him is curious about the things she writes in this notebook, but he only takes a mere glance at one page and quickly scans the writing.

She really is a nerd, huh. Okay, he isn't going to write something like that down. That'll be mean.

Once he finds an empty page, Soundwave holds the pen in hand. Um, tries his best to hold it without breaking it half. Ah... This is oddly difficult. This is Monika's belonging, and he doesn't want to break it.

Wow, okay... Human-made pen sucks so much for a mech like him. His hands are too big and this pen, long as it is, is still small for him. Why can't they just write on datapads like normal people? Ugh, well he can't blame whoever designs the pen because they likely wasn't expecting a giant mech to be using it. Anyway, at least he has a solution for this.

A bit of wasteful energy, but a solution none the less. He materializes his holoavatar to do the writing for him. There, now it's easier for him. Nervousness suddenly creeps up when he holds the tip of the pen above the blank page, hand shaking but he still it. Why he is getting so nervous? He knows what to write, it's all in his head. He tells himself it should be fine. Whatever it is he'll write, Monika is likely to appreciate it regardless, right?

With this reassurance in his head, he begins to write, letting his hand moves on its own and the pen flowing freely on the page with ease.

It doesn't take long at all. By the time Monika finishes ordering room service, Soundwave- in his real body -is already emerging out of the room and walks towards wherever Monika is waiting for him. Then, ]

Here. It is... My first writing on paper and in English.

[Just a subtly way of saying don't judge his handwriting too much. Anyway, when she takes the notebook of his hand, he'll turn his head-- No, he'll turn his entire body away when she opens the notebook, fully expecting her to do so.

And when she finds the page, this is what she'll find.]

You flare, you flicker, you fade
And the world is a darker place without you.

[His handwriting is clean, the letters are all in large capital letters and in block script but neatly written. Soundwave doesn't want to see her reaction, but he sneaks a glance behind his shoulder, anyway. Was it good enough? Gentle enough? Sad? ... Too depressing?]
